  1. I ended up going with the ITP Holeshots 20x11x9. Got a wheel/tire pkg front & back from MotoSport.com for $545. Should be delivered in the next day or so.
  2. hi. does anyone happen to know the torque specs for the reed cage bolts? i'm swapping out the carbs of my 95 bansh with my husbands stock 03 banshee carbs (he now has the 2 into 1 carb). Thanks.
  3. Yes, a girl thank you. And no, I definately would never put pink plastics. That's just sacrilegious. They're orange. Very bad lighting in the garage.
  4. Thank you for the words of wisdom, but I'm not crying about it, and i'm DEFINATELY not looking for anyones approval. I could care less if no one else likes them. And actually, I found all of the comments quite amusing. As I said - to each his own.
  5. lol wow. suck it. Def to each his own. I was a little skeptical, but I don't hate them. I was a little iffy on the front plastics - yes, they are very raptor'ish - though they were listed on Maier.com as banshee fenders. They've grown on me, though. Definately unique, I don't deny that. And I think once she's complete with a new seat and shoes, I think I'll like it that much more. Thanks for all the negative feedback, though.
  6. I found a great deal on ITP Holeshots off Chapparal's ($417 for front and rear mounted on douglas .125), but cancelled the order. We're riding in NH the weekend of the 15th, so I NEED the tires by then. Guy I was on the phone with said they were in stock and I'd have them by the 8th. Called today to get a tracking number - turns out they AREN'T in stock, and I won't get them for 2+ weeks. So I found a deal for $470 on MotoSport.com for the same tires. Ground shipping is free, and if they're in stock, I'll get them in 3 days. Works for me. Am going to be getting TORS from Vito's. Just need to find a good deal on a seat now, and I'm good.
  7. My 95 shee just got some new plastics - Maier custom plastics. Still need to buy a seat cover, and I'm waiting for my tires and wheels to be delivered. I'll take better pics when the tires and seat are all set.
  8. Sweet. Those were the tires i was just looking at on RMATV. 6ply is the choice for trail riding...
  9. is ready to ride...

  10. I'm in the market for some new tires, and I'm wondering what you all recommend for trail tires. Don't have crazy money to spend (unfortunately). Thinking about a tire/wheel combo b/c I need rims anyway. Hubby said don't go for radial? Any suggestions? Also, any suggestions on where to buy them? Thanks.
