Zilla, thanks asshole! if you noticed in my post i said, "i could be completely wrong"
thanks for clearing that up, ill make sure to jet mine out properly even though it has been running great since i bought it new in 05 and put pipes on
why do you need to re jet for pipes? i thought rejetting was needed for any intake modifications such as removing the airbox, snorkle or changing carbs... i was under the assumption that rejetting was needed for intake changes not exhaust changes. i have a stock motor, stock airbox and intake and reeds with FMF fattys and i didnt have to rejet. i could be completely wrong but adding exhaust to a factory motor should require jetting.
thanks everyone...
are you planning any trips to trevorton? i live in york pa and go there atleast 4 times a year. let me know and maybe i gather a group and make the trip up
I wasnt sure where to post this topic....
Has anyone tried to use the G Force extended rear hubs that are on ebay? i was wondering if they are strong enough to handle trail and small track riding. they seem to be a better looking and better design than the plastic or aluminum looking donuts that ive also seen. i know alot of people are gonna tell me to just buy an extended from Gforce which is only alittle more but thats not an option for me and my budget.
simple question.......do i have to re jet if i remove the factory airbox and replace with K&N pods or toomy one into two filter system
i ran it one time with the lid off and it ran terrible
i have a factory motor with fmf fatty pipes
if so what jetting do you recommend?
thanks
wondering if anyone has used the K&N air filter lid that replaces the factory airbox lid? i tried to run my banshee last summer without the factory lid and it ran like shit which im guessing has to do with jetting. if i was to run the K&N lid would i have to do some jet work also or not?
ive read just about ever post in here and it seems to be pretty unanimous that the yfz shocks are a day and night replacement for the stockers. sure id like a set of elkas or works but i just dont have the money to do it.
