  1. back when i got my banshee it felt scary fast and now it just isnt as much of a rush, and sometimes i want more power. i was thinking of getting it ported. but then thought i would probly end up feeling the same about that too. so i was wondering if i got a 4mil crank and got maybe a trail port to match it would that be a good setup? and i know spacer plates arent the favoured option but are they really that bad, or will it be fine to use. also what kinda hp would i be seeing, and what size carbs would be good to use with that setup to focus on midrange power. and who are some of the favoured builders on here that do some good work? this isnt going to be happening anytime soon but ill be starting a good job in the summer and start making decent money without paying rent or anything so this can be reasonable. sorry for all the different questions just wanted to get some info so when i decide to do something like this i have the knowledge.
  2. i know how it feels man, i ride as much as i can in the summer. but when winter hits i wait till the sled pack down the lake and ditches. then i get a day or 2 of riding then more snow and more waiting. im praying for the snow to melt.
  3. learn to use the clutch and keep it in that powrband. raptors are slow and gay.
  4. heres a picture of mine. not the greatets thing compared to some of u guys but its alot better then when i got it stock. im getting nerf bars sometime this week
  5. i think they look good when they come to a point so there is still a bit of fender. kinda like mine but pointed at the front. i get really muddy when its wet out, but thats what its all about lol
  6. mine kinda does the same when its real cold, but its my left cylinder. i have a dent right at the beginning of the header. check the bottom of the pipes, are they dented at all?
  7. if i can remember right, i just left the one overflow hose from the rad run down to the back to where the carb overflows are. and i also plugged the overflow that comes out by where the pump is. i only did this to make it easier to get at the carbs.
  8. oh, its another overflow for the bottom end oil. i just plugged it. if i get some longer hose ill run it another overflow tube to the back,
  9. im removing my coolant overflow bottle. i ran a new overflow tube, took out the bottle and took out everyting else that didnt need to be there. the one hose ran from the bottle, then had a T joint and one side went to an overflow that just drained out and the other side went under the plastic cover on the clutch side. just wondering what i should do with it. im thinking i should cut and plug it but im not sure.
  10. hmm, interesting. looks like my banshee came with a boost bottle. what exactly are they "supposed" to do?
  11. ok thanks. ill try and pick a warrior hub up as soon as i can, if it doesnt fit i can take it back, i bought stuff from the guy before and he said if anything didnt work right then i could come and get my money back.
  12. my front wheel bearing were completly done so i ordered new ones. i was taking out the old bearings and seals and when i got to the last bearing the bearing and everything popped out but the outer ring of the bearing stayed in. it seems to be completely corroded and attached to the inside of the hub. i have grinded parts of it. tried chiseling parts of it out and it seems like completely stuck. so my big question is will a warrior front hub fit ona banshee. i can get a warrior hub cheap and quick but nobody around me is parting out a banshee.
  13. hahahaha, thats retarded
  14. i only read the first page of this, but your friend owes you a kick in the balls. you ditched him on an 80, did you think he would have a chance of out running a cop on an 80. but i agree with you on the running part i would do the same thing. ive been nice and stopped for cops and they always give me shit for it. so i say fuck that ill run if i know ill get away.
  15. i usually make sure im in the power band, then when i have my speed right i just keep steady speed in the powerband all the way up the jump, i find if you let off too early it will nose dive, and if you hold the gas in the air the front comes up more. i try to let off the gas right when im my tires leave the jump and it keeps me level. im not a pro but i have been riding quads since i was very young and this is what i found that my banshee does. with my old blaster i could just roll over jumps and it would always stay level, but the suspension suck ass.
