  1. you don't have a napa anywheres close? they carry amsoil and thats what i would recommend. If not amsoil id run klotz
  2. Got a helmet cam finally.. can't wait to get a crash on film

  3. Drill 2 holes through the top holes of the adapter and put some screws in. You can put a little of black silicone behind it if you want to ensure it being sealed.
  4. Sounds like a good place to ride but that is even farther than busco for me. Im not trying to spend 40hrs of my weekend driving my jeep with a trailer on the back. We need to set up like 3-4 different spots on the east coast everything that has been mentioned is at least a 12hr drive one way for me and thats just too much. That is my opinion lol
  5. x2 on what ecshee said. One of the more obvious spots is the spark plug caps, pull the caps toss some die electric grease in there and try it out. had it happen to mine the spark was actually coming outside of the plug and hitting the nut on the plug. Havent had a problem since.
  6. im running a 4mm longrod, cool head, no port, 33pwks, vf2s, slingshot lockup, T5s, and -1 roundhouse swinger. I like it i have a set of full drag cyls that will go on when i lunch this top end. Pretty mint setup it is a handful in the tight stuff.
  7. Im running the Pro Design Billet intake with boost bottle with my 33s, they make it with or without the boost bottle pretty nice piece i think. The Boss billet intakes are nice too.
  8. Just race him man, if you don't work its back to the drawing board. Put a 15 tooth front sprocket on and you'll win the banshee has a lot of wheel spin as is with stock gearing, i would never drop a tooth in the front
  9. alright cool i only have one issue with the NC ride. I don't have a title for my banshee i do have a bill of sale. Is the title necessary? If it is i guess you won't be seeing me nor my friends. You don't need a title in maine to own a used atv, i still have the title for my blaster i sold 3 years ago.
  10. I can try to make it down but thats a 14-15 hr drive for me its about the same distance to silverlake sand dunes from here. If i can get a buddy to go with me and if i have reliable transportation down ill go, as of now i have a totaled jeep. My banshee doesn't usually leave my garage unless its seeing a road until may, the season doesn't open here until may 15. Whats the deal with registration down there and do you need insurance? We will have to plan a trip in maine sometime i know there are a lot of guys on here from NJ, conn, mass, nh, and NY that would be able to make it a 2 day trip.
  11. The new maps are sick, not a big fan of berlin wall. Tonytonez391 on 360. I played black ops on my buddies ps3 and ill add that the ps3 was WAY easier online then the 360. Everyone sucked haha
  12. I have a set of 65.5mm bore came off an 87 i bought this summer, one of the cylinders has some kind of do it yourself porting in the intake, not much taking out if anything a minor trail port. The other cylinder is stock port. I bought it with a blown crank so i think the guy replaced the junk cyl with this ported one. I have no use with these cylinders, shoot me a price if your interested. Tony
  13. SC1 new plastic in a can silicone spray.
  14. I agree with pretty much everything wicked atv had written. Thats a nice setup and you should be able to beat your buddies with it. The carb jetting he suggested is pretty much spot on to what i was running and pretty much the same setup, and i can tell you from first hand experience that it ripped. Id keep the airbox lose the lid and put in a K&N. Cool head, high flow impeller, shift shaft mod, and 15/41 gearing are a few other things to look into.
  15. More info on your top end setup, are you running the cometic top end for the long rod crank or thick base gasket? 185psi on mine last year fresh build cometic top end gasket kit 4mm long rod wisecos 21cc domes 285ft above sea level. .046 squish. Its possible i ran 100ll pretty much all year in it at first i ran cam 2 110
  16. Warm your bike up with your old spark plugs, put some new ones in and run it wide open down the road shut it off and coast to a stop using brakes of course and check the plugs. If they aren't white you should be all set, keep em like a cardboard brown. I run mine down the road all season wide tight to the bar, i slow down every now n then blip the throttle drop it to 5th and bounce back up to 6th. You will be fine just don't clamp it and hold it there for 5 miles.
  17. Im running a set of holeshot hds and they hook pretty dam good in dirt/gravel. They don't wear to great, as long as you keep it off the road you should get a couple seasons out of them. Def recommend them.
  18. Agreed.. Sold an Ims 5 gal tank to him about two weeks ago. Great guy to deal with.
  19. Welcome to the BHQ!! The banshee clymer manual used to be on google books but they removed it, im not sure if they have another pdf file for it or not. The clymer manual is about 20 bucks i suggest you order one online if you can't get one locally.
