  1. ok, as the title says.. ive got a thick white (almost looks like milk) leaking from transmission, i know its transmition oil but.. does this mean the oil has mixed with the coolant? the motor has been freshly rebuilt and i took it out for a test drive only to notice a loss of power and a the motor stopped running so, i pushed it back home and as soon as i stopped it just leaked the whole load out!. ive blown a motor before, and this felt exactly the same! but, to my surprise.. i tried firing her up again and the motor runs just fine.. the thing is, the transmition leaked all its oil out, and it was a thick white fluid.. the same fluid was also found in the radiator. no, i didnt go hard on her and yes i did check the dipstick and its covered in white. could someone please explain the cause of this and what exactly is this fluid mixture and a possible solution? was it assembled wrong or is it something else? i tried searching for "white fluid" and "white oil" but got no results. 2. guys, need some help modding my shee for the my particular riding style.. im from Bahrain, a Desert island in the Gulf.. and what we have is a limestone desert consisting of mainly hard rock, low speed and high speed trails, very fine sand and accumulated dust to huge sand dunes and some long stretches of asphalted road to get from one riding area to the other. my current mods are pro circuit pipes, jetted and a K&N in-box filter with the lid removed. the Banshee runs great and has never given me any problems.. power is plentiful though id sometimes like more power down low. but, my major concern here is the long stretches of road that i sometimes have to take.. ive been told that driving on the road could melt my top end.. problem is, we ride as a group of Trail Bikes and many 4 stroke Quads.. the only other Shee in our group has already damaged his motor. are there any mods i can do to be able to do some road riding without sacrificing my motor's life?? i do not like to be left behind as im usually ahead of everyone when it really matters.. in the sand! and is it true that when riding on asphalt i need to keep shaking the engine and alternate between gears and throttle? if so, could someone explain why?
  3. Thanks for the quick replies, care to share how?? I managed to raise the idle a tad.. Idles fine when in gear but still slowly rolls forward
  4. Guys, need some help here.. just got my 2006 banshee home and ive noticed that it does not idle when in gear.. idles fine in neutral.. runs great.. but, as soon as i put her into gear.. with the clutch fully diesngaged.. it dies! the only way around it is to raise the rpm's a bit and put into gear then letting go of the gas. i think this might be possible to the clutch not fully disengaging.. since, it does sometimes go into gear and idles fine but, as soon as its in gear.. even with the clutch fully pulled.. it still moves forward. ive tried to adjust the clutch.. but it made no difference, i still havent found out how to raise the idle as that will solve half the problem.. so, any help will be appreciated!
