  1. Alright yes i agree there is some stuff out there that is so ridiculously hard to prove or do twice let alone once. As far as what i said about reading up on the site, that was geared towards Fatassbanshee. And you still dont get it being clocked is not being radarad. I have had a few speeding tickets. Theres a couple little circles they check off one is Radar and the other is Clocked. Which means the cop saw you go by and thought to himself that guy has to be going 90mph when in reality he never pulled the gun on you. So i dont care if the pope clocked you, pull out the gun.
  2. Have you checked your plug caps out yet? I bet they are not sealing like there suppose to. Next time you go through a puddle look at them, mine was shooting electricity down to the nut that you tighten the spark plug up with. Quick fix would be to get some electrical grease and smear it in there, or buy some new caps.
  3. Yeah if the coolant is moving when you pull the cap then its working. Are you having problems with it overheating? chariot makes a nice billet impeller and they are not that hard to install at all. You will have to get a new clutch cover gasket and i would change out the bearing and seal in there too.
  4. Wow man you and your buddy Fatassbanshee are BAKED. Ill start out by just pointing out the obvious, you were CLOCKED thats an estimated guess of what you were doing. And i dont care if you had a 454 big block strapped in your bike with stock gearing and 20in tires you aren't even coming close to 90mph. And Fatassbanshee get the gun out and shut me up, until then hang out on the site and get some knowledge before calling me out.
  5. Take the whole lid right off your wasting you time hacking the lid. whats your elevation, 320 main for just pipes is way too big unless your ported. Oh and before you write about how you use it for trails and go through water a lot and you dont want to get water in the airbox, i have mine off and go mudding with it all the time. Hardly ever get anything in my airbox. I run a k&n with no outerwear.
  6. I use an impact to take it off. Doesnt need to be put on too tight since theres a tabbed washer that locks it in place.
  7. Im calling BS on this statement. With mine 15/41 gearing which is taller, 21in worn down mudsharks, Fmf ssts/vf2s,.040,reed spacers, lid off k&n with proflow, Fresh top end at 150psi and all she has is 85mph on tar. Thats being tailed by a 2003 Ford Ranger that rev limits itself at 90mph. And im 155lbs. Even if you had 22 inch tires theoretically you could hit 93mph at 10,000 but you still have to factor in rider weight and wind conditions.
  8. The white purple power jug from wal mart mixed in a spray bottle with water. I hose all the mud and loose stuff off first than i coat it with the purple power let it sit for a couple mins and rinse off. I then spray it again and wipe with a rag. Heavy caked on grease by the exhaust if theres any i use Engine Gunk the Gel formula works king. Most of the time i just use car wash soap put a little in a bucket and use a loofa to dunk and wash the banshee. I tip mine up on the rear wheels a lot to to get under the motor and the a arms etc. After its clean, polish on the billet and chrome and WD40 on all the black parts i can find it really gives them a glossy finish.
  9. I like my HDs. I dont think they ride hard at all, my worn out mudsharks are way more stiff then the holeshots. Awesome traction on the dirt I would buy another set.
  10. Yeah i second that crank rod bearing failure. My head and piston look exactly the same and it was because my crank rod needle bearing failed and sent the needles up my coolant transfers. You should be able to see if your bearing is missing any needles.
  11. yeah if .010 will clean it up thats fine, I had said 64.5 because i believe with the longrod cranks they only make piston kits for every .020 over.
  12. Only bore it over what you need to bore it over. if your at stock bore right now and you want to go 4mill, i believe you would have to bore to 64.5mm.
  13. That would be sweet to have a Banshee Mag. Maybe if it were ten years ago it would be a good idea but now they dont make them anymore so all the products that are out for the banshee are pretty much the only products that will be out for a banshee. So there would be nothing much to really test out besides different set ups for different occasions. And i can't believe that guy stole Nicks pic.
  14. x2 on clean out the pilot jet, is should run with one of those 2 sizes. You main jet size will probably end up a couple sizes smaller also.
  15. Hate to break it to ya but 100psi is unexceptable in my book. As long as there within 5-10 psi of each other you can get another season out of them but you should start saving up some money for a top end. Your going to have to resleeve it or buy new cylinders so i would def start saving. A milled head is a cheap way of bumping up your compression, but the good thing about a cool head is you can interchange your dome ccs.
  16. That looks like a decent trail setup. Go with the K&N and instead of getting the carbs get a set of Vforce 2s or 3s. I have had my stock carb bowls go dry many times, but not from just riding it. If your ripping through the gears in a wheelie it will run them dry.
  17. Triple XL Damn you have a big nogin! Your either really smart or full of hot air
  18. I dont have any pics with them on yet, coming soon. Formula1 your HDs have way to much air in them. I run mine at 4.5-5.5 psi those look like there at 10plus. Basically when the tire starts rounding over you stop.
  19. I ride trails and am a pretty aggressive rider and i like my HDs. They grab hard and like already said they dont slide very well, which i like i want my quad going where i want it to go. I have no problem breaking the tires loose when I need too. I had Mudsharks on before so the weight wasn't a big factor with me. The shee has more then enough power to turn the tires.
  20. I would say No you cant. And as far as telling you what HP you'll see out of that set up we would need a little more info thats really broad.
  21. Totally disagree with everything ^ this guy said. The ssts come on very low in the rpm range, since i dont have a tach my guess would be somewhere around 4-4500 rpms and they pull hard right through i would say 9000rpms. Very nice pipe, my buddy has T5s on his and with similar setups (mine had Vf2s and reed spacers but other wise the same) I would pull on him at the gate and keep pulling on him through 3rd gear. Id maintain my distance but not pull any further and neither was he. Even on the road flat out the T5s wind up just a bit more but his bike will not pull past mine with the ssts.
  22. Thumb throttle all the way. Twist throttles are for pussys with weak thumb strength
  23. Ive always run at least 91 in all my toys. You will def notice a difference between 87-93 depending on how its tuned. My old 1991 yamaha exciter 570 wouldnt run on anything under 91 it would just foul plugs. Ive gone to the gas station before put 87 in it and barely made it on the trail without it fouling the plugs, boy was that a long night haha.
