  1. Call it what you want but it worked.
  2. Never heard of them falling off like you described but I have heard of them breaking off. Maybe you didn't secure the petal into the reed cage properly. Just a thought.
  3. No, I did not use gaskets. I let it cure for 24 hrs.
  4. I run high-temp black silicone on both sides of my reeds and don't a problem.
  5. A little more info is needed. What carbs, current jets, and elevation?
  6. I assume they are stock carbs. Is the choke tube connected between the carbs? Are the slides in correctly? I just had to ask.
  7. I assume they are stock carbs. Is the choke tube connected between the carbs? Are the slides in correctly? I just had to ask.
  8. Well, I thought the problem had switched sides but it's still on the right. I cleaned both carbs thoroughly and synced them but I'm still getting a bog on the right throughout the entire rpm range. The jets are 48, 175, CEL on the 3rd, and air screws 2 turns out. No air leaks and compression is good. Any ideas?
  9. 86 degress F. It should be fine. That's nowhere near too hot to ride.
  10. If these are in nice shape as the description states, I would to hate to see the ones that aren't! "Nice shape and ready to bolt on!"
  11. Are the carbs in sync? How many turns out are the air mixture screws?
  12. You check your harness to see if it may be shorting out to the frame?
  13. You're jetted too fat. Try a 165 and go from there.
  14. I had the same problem. A set of bad reeds on the that side was the cause.
  15. I didn't bump the float at all when I removed the bowl. I didn't remove the plug either.
  16. After I rejetted my bike, one the my carbs start leaking gas out of the overflow tubes so I gave it a couple of light tabs with the handle of my screwdriver and that solved the problem. Soon after, that side of my motor would hesitate while cruising and the hesitation would get even worse full throttle. So, I switched sides with the carbs just to make sure it was the carb and the problem switched sides with the carb. I took the carb off, removed the jets, and sprayed everything with a can of carb cleaner. I put the carb back on and I'm still having the same problem out of the carb. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  17. Had a guy tell me the other day that he has a "bass boost" for my bike that he want to sell. I said you mean boost bottle and he said "No, a bass boost." I just walked off after that.
  18. When I had a dune port with stock carbs Kev told me that the air screws shouldn't be turned out no more than 1 full turn and he was right on.
  19. I would get a pingle. I run one wit my 421 with 35s and stock bowls and no problems so far.
  20. Great seller! Thanks for the intake and filters!!
  21. Those numbers are fine. Did you ohm the harness and stator?
