I had that problem once before. A wire on my harness was grounding out against the head and causing my right side to have a weak spark.

I'm with the others guys on this one, it sounds like an air leak.

To ohm something means to check the resistance with a multi-meter for a open circuit. Did you tie the red and black wire together and kick it over?

My bad, try twisting the red and black wires together. The red and black wires that you disconnected your kill switch from. Did you ohm your key switch?

Sounds like a bad stator. Get out your multi-meter.....Banshee Electrical

Try connecting the red and brown wires together and the black and black w/white stripe together and kick it over.

Try screwing your air screws all the way in while it's cold and then try and start it.

Yeah, its too lean....try a 280. A guy I know put pods on his bike and didn't re-jet and it sounds like a starter pistol everytime he try to launch it. I told him it was too lean and he said "Nah, dude told me it's because I changed the sprocket on it." :sad:

Synced the carbs and hooked the choke tube back up to both carbs?

Yeah, you sure can run stock carbs. Are you going to get the cylinders ported? If not, I would recommend you have it done for the type of riding you do to take advantage of the additional stroke.

I forgot about the ole PB blaster. Frustration had me blind-sided. My bike is a '01 and I'm trying to make it look decent but I don't think it ever will compared to bikes on here. Wll I need a impact wrench to get the nut off the swinger bolt or will I be able to remove the nut after I spray it with PB?

Can someone tell me what I need to do to remove the top bolt out of the stock a-arms. Those are the only bolts I can't remove. Thanks
