    Unless you want to do a back-to-back rebuild , I would suggest you do a leakdown test. Learning the hard way isn't fun!

    440 is way too big, try a 300 main and take it from there. What's your elevation? Did you snyc the carbs?

    $1200 for a '05 is a very good deal. Whoever you been talking to don't know much about Banshees period. Look around and see how many post you see like the stories you have been hearing from other ppl.

    No, you don't need to buy another bowl. Its for the choke and only one of your stock carbs have a choke. Just remember to connect the choke tube between the two carbs when you put them back on the bike.

    You probably will have to go down a couple of sizes. 310 sounds kinda rich. Try somewhere around 280 and do a plug chop.
