I had it wrong, he told me the stock carbs on that port job only like a half turn out on the air screws. Try that and see what happens. Also, try switching the plug wires as suggested.
I had the same problem with coolant leaking onto the right pipe after the bike had warmed up. I too thought it was a leak. I found out the fluid was coming from the overflow tube that's zip tied to the frame behind the radiator. I stopped refilling my coolant tank after that and haven't had that problem anymore. No overheating either
Did you turn the air screws only one turn out? I had the same port on stock carbs from Kevin before.Both sides bog or just the left? Try giving the carbs a good cleaning. May have a clogged pilot on the left side.
Its a 421 cub. I'm in MS and at sea level. I have been running the 175 the whole time and never had a problem with a bog until now. A bog when I'm not in the powerband and a sputtered rev up top on that one side.
It stayed with the same cylinder. When I'm not in powerband and throttle it, it bogs which causes me to have to downshift. I replaced the reed petals about three months ago.
