He's right on the pilots and air screws but more like 280 on the mains and try the 3rd clip from the top on the needle. 330-350 is when you get into dune and drag ported cylinders.

From what i've learned by reading this site and experienced, they are a total waste. The people who dont know much about banshees will swear it has something to do with a nitrous setup too...i've been accused of that a couple of times.

Congrats! Welcome to the HQ. Not tryin to be a party pooper but I'd recommend you get rid of the boost bottle because all it lead to is cracked intake boots. When i first bought my bike I ran my bike with cracked boots for the longest before i looked found this site and found out it could cause serious damage. Funny things is, my boots were cracked for like a month with me riding and it didnt cause any damage at all.

It was suppose to be worse than that but like I said before he can't drive. I just sent my motor towards Kevin @ HJR to have a 4mm built so I wont have to worry about him anymore.

I was wondering if any of you guys have any "kill stories" you would like to share with us. I've looked at a couple of other forums and they've had a "kill stories" topic and I enjoy reading those. Maybe we can have one of those added here. Perhaps I can start it off. I have a '01 banshee with T5's, VF3s, pod filters, with 15t front and friend of mine has a ltr450 that has been "modded" for the 1/8 with cam and the filter lid removed. i dont know the rest of the mods becuz he wont tell me and he cant' launch rite to save his life. So we line up for a race thru da 1/8 on the street (no traffic for miles). I get in second and rev it up and he's in first. The flag man drops his hands and we take off. He rolls and jumps me two lenghts out the hole becuz I almost rode the grab bar again (different story) and keeps that distance the whole race. Those 450 are monsters if they're set up rite. The reason I say he cant launch is becuz if he lifts the front he gets scared and backs out. I've seen him beat 3 bolt-on banshees easy. It's not a kill story but i figured u guys wouldnt want to hear about all the 400exs.

I'm looking for a engine for around $1000 or a rebuildable one. Let me know what you have. Cash in hand! Thanks
