  2. I run a 38 toother, but... im using honda rear sprockets. I had to change my sprocket hub to the Honda style. Good luck finding smaller Yamaha rear sprockets. The lowest Iv seen is 40, but I havent looked to hard either.
  3. 421stroker are you using a battery ??? If your running a battery, the powervalves should go through a cleaning cycle before you start up the motor. You can hear the powervalves cylce. If your running a "battery eliminator", the engine does not do its little powervalve cleaning cycle. I hope I dont have any problems. I havent done mine yet. I have all the electronics except the powervalve control box. I got all '85 electronics and im going to use the whole wiring harness. Just plug all my boxes into the harness. simple. I hope
  4. just wonderin' if "03 ORANGE SHEE" came back up this weekend ???
  5. are your sparkplugs sparking ??
  6. Clean it often. I know alot of guys are not gonna like this, but I always fill up my ratio rite cup with gasoline, I then dip in the outerwear and swish it around for 10 seconds. When it comes outta the gas, its clean. shake off the excess gas and take it over to your garden hose. Spray it off with water. Now all you have to do is let it dry, it will hold water in the pores. Sometimes if im in a hurry, I'll use a hair blowdryer. Hold the blowdryer up to the Outerwear and it blows\evaportes the water almost instantly. Be carefull tho, you can burn\melt the Outerwear with the hairdryer.
  7. Hell yea, i'll agree with that. Im another happy amsoil user.
  8. Hey iv heard it from a pile of guys, shipping straight from division 4\H-bomb\wesmiller sucks. You shoulda bot it from RMATV.
  9. .090 or max of .100 coolheads, no.
  10. Pyro where is this hairscrable. They race em at Pine Grove\flyin dutchman. I went to a hairscramble race thier last year, it was pretty cool. I might try a race or 2 this season. You allready got the big gastank, thats cool. Razr2's are really popular with the gncc guys. Id get those, 22 in the rear and 22 or 23 up front. Full skidplates. Nerf are optional, they dont require em in xc. Keep your airfilter clean, there's lots of water and mud so waterproof the airbox. Keep the quad narrow.
  11. hell yea, everyone should own a mity-vac. the brakes are perfectly bled in 60 seconds. It works so damn good. Only complaint I have about the mityvac is the catch bottle is too small. buy a mityvac today and thank me tomorrow

  21. my elka shocks came with the preload set from the factory. They told me the preload was set for my weight and riding conditions, I though that was pretty cool of em. I still fiddled with the preload, I hade to fiddle with it. I have it set now where Elka set it originally. Its not the best setup for bigger jumps, but I can stop bottoming out by jacking up the compression knob. Says he's got schrader lookin' valves, so I guess he's not gonna be adjusting any compression soon . Good luck with the preload adjustment, im glad Elkas dont have those clips, they sound like a pain in the ass. BTW I got my shocks setup for 145-160lb rider/MX. love em duece do you have the rebound adjusters on yours ?
  22. What does it take to weld 4130 Chromoly ???
  23. Evil did you sign up with PayPal yet ?? Go to PayPal and sign up. Iv been using it for over a year and used it 100 times allready and havent had one single problem with Paypal. You can receive cash from an auction and it apears in your Paypal account. You can send the money in your paypal acount to your bank checking account, just by clicking a few links the money sweeps into your checking account. real easy to use. You can pay for auctions with money from your checking account or from one of your credit cards. Im more likely to bid on an auction when I see the buyer accepts paypal and prestates the shipping cost. I can pay for the auction within 5 minutes of it ending. Paypal does take a small fee, only the buyer pays the fee and its a % of the winning bid.
