  1. You should pull those reeds out and check to make sure you don't have a broken reed petal. This happened on my v-force 2 reeds. One petal on each cylinder was broke. I don't know why. Probally from a backfire or something but that would make it not start. My plugs were wet sometimes and not others though. Maybe not but wouldn't hurt to check.
  2. My uncle just got a ski-doo mxz snowmobile. It has a reverse button on it. All you do is push it and it slows down the engine and dies for like a split second and starts back up in reverse. Ski-doo's web site says it electronically slows the engine way down and plays with the timing to run the engine in reverse. If I remember right haven't there been a few stories on here about peoples banshee's starting up in reverse? I'm not sure but is anyone smart evough to figure out how you could do this to a banshee to make it have reverse like the snowmobile? Just an idea....
  3. I own both. The banshee is the king but the 250r is a lot lighter, easier to jump, fly over bumps, ect. The downside is that the power isn't really as crazy as banshee and the my frame has cracked in 2 spots. I didn't evern wreck it just normal riding.
  4. I too have been working on an stroker rzshee. For about 2 years. Wiring is a bitch. Pm me if you need a wiring harness diagram with just what you need to run the powervalves work. I had my rz shee going and the cdi went out. Felt real strong.
  5. Went to thebansheezone.com today and it says it will be gone april 3rd whats up with that?
  6. East side bellow south of indy I believe.
  7. I don't know that you can mix and match the gears but you can run all new rz gears. It would just be geared very high. People also use rz shift forks and shift drum because it shifts smoother.
  8. I don't think your problem is in the gearbox. If you have a clymers manual look up the external shift mechanism adjustment. The shaft that goes to the shift drum. I don't know how to describe it but the two pins have to be evenly spaced or it won't shift right. Check that. I can be done without taking the clutch off but it is a lot easier if you do
  9. Let me know how much you want to do a nitrous bottle just like that. That looks bad ass man.
  10. Whats up? I've read all the post about people wanting to put a battery on their machine so that they can use a winch. I know it's kindof retarded but how would you make it so that you could put a battery on a banshee or 250R and have it charge. I want to make a removeable winch and battery setup on my 250R when we go ride down in Kentucky. I was looking at the wiring diagram for the RZ350 and it just has the positive and negitive hooked to the battery. Woud that work if you just hooked the ground up and then the positive to some positive wire? Lets here your thought!
  11. Well I split the cases today. It WAS fun just like I predicted earlier. Anyway there are small notches out of four of the gears. It is the two that mesh on the far right and far left sides. This caused the gears to not mesh proberly and want to lift up causing it to be locked up obviously. Anybody have any clue why it could of done this. I couldn't find anything in the gearbox that would have done this. I't a 2001 that got rode for less than a year also.
  12. oh and the sprocket doesn't move at all. Normally it moves some you know.
  13. I tore the clutch assembly off and now I know that the crank spins freely and the shaft that the clutch rides on doesn't spin. I cant shift the gears with the shift lever but the shift star does move around just a little. Anyone got any more ideas.
