  1. OK, I've been searching various Dodge sites and opinions vary greatly on whether or not I need a track bar bracket, which I guess lowers the track bar so as to keep your wheels aligned. (Be advised, I dont even know what a friggin track bar IS at this point, but I'm learning ) Also what has been thrown around alot is whether or not I need lower control arms. Now keep in mind I'm only goin 3" with spacers for the front and an add a leaf in the rear. Also, anyone have any experience with the Rough Counry 8000 series shocks? Thanks for the help to this point. Oh, I'm gonna be installing all in a few weeks, so I'll be asking for all the help I can get when I do.
  2. Loco, I thought so too. You got yourself one hell of a nice looking truck yourself. Quads not too bad either!
  3. Well I pieced together a pretty good deal I think, I got 3" coil spacers for the front, 3" add a leafs for the rear, new U bolts and 4 rough country 8000 series shocks for 322 bux delivered to my door. Good deal I think.
  4. I have been going crazy trying to find a decent 3" lift for my 98 x-tra cab Dodge 4X4. I found a pro-comp lift with aluminum front coil spacers, add a leafs for the rear, new U-Bolts and 4 ES 3000 shocks for 466 bux. Good deal or not? What exactly are "ES 3000" shocks? Never heard of em. Thanks.

  6. If I were you I would just keep the PC's. They really are a very good pipe. I personally dont think the performance of the T-5 or the T-6 as compared to your PC's is worth the price of buying any of these two pipes. If you get her ported than I would look into buying some CPI's or Shearer pipes. Reas11 just put some Shearers on his beast and he swears by them. But until then keep the PC's.
  7. Led, I am truly sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 12 years ago and I still think of him every day. Like it has been said a few times in here already, remember the good times and you'll get through this. It sucks I know, but it'll get better. Stay strong.
  8. While your puttin around and porting your jugs and cages I would get the crank welded. By the time its done you'll be as well and if anything you'll have piece of mind that your crank wont seperate and grenade your new port work and pistons/top end.
  9. Holyman, what did you do with the spacer inside the axle? Did you drill holes in that or just leave it?
  10. Depending on where you ride, Porting, some gear changes, larger carbs and CPI's to enhance your port work and carbs.
  11. CPI. No doubt. Good on a stock bike, outstanding on a ported bike.
  12. Do you have to take the tires off of the rims?
  13. Yup, keep the SST's. No reason to change if you like the way bike performs now. If you get it ported, then I would think of going to a CPI pipe and throw your SST's on ebay.
  14. I have a 99 shee with T-5's and a 94, listed below with CPI's. CPI makes an awesome pipe. You wont be disapointed.
  15. Agreed, puttin around and alot of trail riding, buy a 4 stroke. But I must admit, the 04 limited is a sweet ride. If I had the bux I would buy one right now. Love the black frame and plastics. Throw some on CPI's, chrome rims and a little chrome and that bike is the best looking of the bunch.
