  1. Id really like to try some XC racing this year. Some district 6 hairscrambles. Check out GNCC RACING Heres some pictures I took at the Rausch creek gncc. RC Gncc
  2. Just fuckin ride it. Dont think, just ride it.
  3. im from shamokin. we're about 45 or 50 miles from hazleton. Pottsville is alot closer. Im not riding till april or may, my bikes torn down for winter maintence, its too cold out to ride anyways.
  4. Thats pretty wild, i never seen anything like it. Those linkage systems are nice cause you adjust it infinitly to fine tune it. I see on your that you can also shorten\extend the toe peice. Give it a try and a review.
  5. I have a +2 stainless steel brake line. I'll trade ya if you got a standard length or negative length stainless steel line.
  6. Yea i agree, thats what I heard too. Thats the setup id like to have.
  7. I'll trade my Fattys and PCII silencers for a set of FMF Gnarlys. Does anyone know if the PowerCore II silencers are the same design for gnarlys and fattys ?? Id also trade up for a complete set of Paul Turner mids or hi-revs.
  8. Iv heard you can remove the drain bolt on the bowl and then seal it up with some epoxy or JB weld kinda stuff.
  9. well said benbb good info there. I have an alloyspecialties locknut and its working great. I had my sprocket hub splines strip one day. I was stuck in five miles from home and I couldnt go anywhere, the sprocket and sprocket hub just spun around the axle. I got towed home that day This happened when i was still using the stock axle nuts and stock axle.
  10. yea i remember a few horror stories here about sleeves dropping. Iv been lucky with mine, knock on wood.
  11. or...... .028 to .031
  12. the place is pretty cool. there's no groomed mx tracks to ride, no one takes care of the land so its not the easiest terrain to ride. It gets rocky and muddy alot. Coal Hill sits on the very end of a tract of land we call the strippins. Its a valley that run behind the towns of Shamokin and Treverton. Its about 10 miles from one of the strippins to the other end. The valley is about a mile wide, maybe 2 miles wide at places. So your looking at alot of useless strip mined land to tear up. I live near the Shamokin end of the strippins, Coal Hill sits at the other end, 8 miles away from my house. Coal Hill is at the Treverton end. I can ride out of my backyard and into the woods. A minute ride through the woods and im on the main haul road that goes all the way through the strippins. This road is "the mile road" cause it takes you right past a big man made lake called "the mile". Coal Hill area ususally gets the most traffic. Deep in the middle of the strippins theres places like 'the sand pits', "the project" and "mud road". There's giant abandon strip mine cranes rusting around, sometimes you'll see trash and tires and some places there are sinkholes from mine subsidance. These abandon strip mines are all over Pa, like the big one in Hazleton. Our trails here are similar to Rausch Creeks trails.
  13. ok so you a vitos 404 kit correct ?? First thought is those 18cc domes producing 210 & then 160 PSI, your going to need hi-octane race gas, at minimum a 50\50 mix. Did you "break the motor in" yet ? How did you do it ? Your compression quickly dropping from 210 to 160 and the pressurized spurting radiator could be both caused by a busted head O-ring. Is your radiator still leaking or coming out the overflow ?? Your main jets are too small. I ride a ported vitos BB sleeve, fmf fattys, v-force, trixxhead with 24cc domes. You guys remember Eric from the Mobile Dyno later changed to 4 wheel thunder...... he said that any cc under 24cc would require race gas. My engine guy agreed so im running 24cc big bore domes and 94 octane Sunoco pump gas. Im still using the stock carbs, my summer main jets are 360's or 370s. I just went up to 390s for the colder weather, I havent rode since the beginning of December, but the 390 mains were pretty close at say mid 50 degrees during October and November. You only have 300's in there, and you said its freezing out. Id think your pretty lean. Also, im using 30 pilots and vitos needles for ported cylinders on the 3rd notch. Im using a Toomey 2:1 UNI air filter, no airbox. edit, iv been running this vitos 404 kit for 3 years now and no engine failures yet. I have the head off it now and the sleeves are starting to show some wear. Im pretty sure that im going to rebuild the top end this winter. Its due, im happy with 3 years of hard riding. Hopefully I wont need a bore. Im on the first bore yet, thats something like 392cc.
  14. help me out ?? http://www.bluetraxx.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=37923
  15. Ben that black paint on the cases is from the factory. My cases on the motor I bought are black and the cases on my streetbike are black and every rz cases iv seen on ebay are black, so im 99% sure that's factory. As for the oil pump, keep it in the clutch cover. Oil pumps sell for practally nothing on Ebay, its prolly not worth it to split up the two parts. Take good clear pictures and lots of em. Clean everything up. Let me know if you need a picture host. Make sure you put the word "Banshee" in your auction titles so the banshee guys get to see your stuff. NO RESERVE. I see parts with a reserve and I keep on shopping. Iv seen countless items end under the reserve price with only 2 or 3 bids. I agree with NYUK, start your auctions low, like a buck. That way, someone see's a nice Rz stator and its only at $3.00, they're more likely to put that item in their "watch list". You'll get more people watching your auctions, and hopefully their will be a bidding war on your part. If I see an Rz stator with a starting price of $75 bucks, its not going on my watch list. Almost everything Iv ever sold on Ebay, the price on the part jumps during the last 2 minutes of the auction. usually triples or quadruples the price in the last seconds. Pre-state shipping costs. I love it when I know exactly what the shipping is going to cost me. If I see an inflated shipping cost, I usually think to myself "f*ck you pal" and the auction never makes my "watch list". So be cool with the shipping costs.
  16. meat. I'll be the first to admit that im not the best looking guy out there, but somehow I always had a hot girl with me. My buddies would say "how the hell did you hook up with her" and shit like that, someone(Ed) said, you must be packin' some major meat. So they call me "meat".
  17. Evil your in the gallery, i'll gaurentee it. Im not sure which one, but I know your in there. This is yours right ?? Its in gallery #3 at the very bottom
  18. "I remember a web site called "THE BANSHEE ZONE" www.thebansheezone.com where this guy everytime he upgraded his BANSHEE would always put pictures up and show others, I thought that guy was the coolest guy around." thats dogdadrider, he won the YFZ450 member of the year at BT. He's a character to say the least. Real nice guy tho, just a little strange. "I thought that guy was the coolest guy around" I think I have just about everything covered on the banshee zone, everyting except sand banshee, sand dragging, dune related mods. Ya know theres over 120 pages on the banshee zone
  19. Thought id add this to the motorhome conversation...... My dad has been driving truck for Fleetwood Motor Homes for 20 years, they allow the two truck drivers access to the motorhomes for their vacations. Every summer mom & dad have a brand new $100,000 dollar motor home for as long as they need\want it. Last one dad got was a brandy new Expedition, push a button on the dash and the living room area slides out and doubles the width of the coach, push another button and the bedroom slides out to double its size. Push another button and four large leveling jacks unfold and automatically level the coach. 25 inch color TV up front with a Direct TV satellite dish on the roof. 19 inch TV in the bedroom. DVD player\VHS player\full stereo surround. The bosses rarely take em out on vacation anymore so Dad's usually gets em with 2 miles on the odometer.
  20. What did you think about those 645,694,349,86 whoops in a row ? The guy on the KX hit em up pretty fast eh, theres alot of MX bikes out there in the summer, the guys race at two big local tracks and they practice all week in the strippins. This place, Coal Hill\Treverton\Shamokin is the home of GNC racer Jason Dunkelburger and GNCC Women's class three time champion Traci Cecco.
  21. I cant beleive you guys came all the way up here in the dead of winter to ride. Did it rain on yas ??? Come back in the springtime and i'll give yas the grand tour. Right where you guys parked is cool and thats where everyone parks, but its also easy access for the cops. You'll have to park at my house when I have my Banshee ready to ride, then I can show you how to navigate through the strippins. From my backyard to the top of Coal Hill is 8 miles. I put your pictures up on the Coal Hill page on the banshee zone, hope you dont mind. Here's a few "03 Orange" took this past Friday.... Here's a shot of my blue Banshee ontop of the hill near the big Banshee sprockets Here's a shot of the parking area looking down from the hill
  22. Blocking tactics, I like that. Whatchas think about that big ugly aluminum gastank ? It holds 6 gallons. I have an old DirtWheels mag where they featured Dean Sundahls Baja Banshee and thats the same tank he has. Said it was a "Lance Shcoonmacher" tank. He also said he uses 28mm PWK's cause they give better gas milage than the bigger carbs.
  23. pretty neat huh. It made my day
  24. Here's a shot of that 6 gallon gas tank I got. Its ugly, but its identical to the one that Sundahl used on his Baja Banshee.
