I have an 01 banshee with duncan reeds, trinity 2 into one carb. It has always ran great except for the last two times i took it to sand pit during which i have been running smaller diameter tires that usual. At full throttle the engine will be cranking along in powerband and then cut out and almost comes to a complete stall. This only happens in higher gears like 4th and up sometimes in 3rd. I suspect it has something to do with the main jet but i find it weird that it only happens in higher gears. Any ideas?

i have 3 banshee's and of all of them this one is teh smoothest running, its all stock except for fmf pipes, and pro design pro flow intake. i also added a tm design chain slider nerf bars, six pack rack, dg bumper, renthal bars, red shock covers.. all wheel bearing have been recently replaced with pivot works bearings and the swing arm pivot shaft adn bearings were replaced.. i have two sets or rear tires i will elt you chose which ever u prefer.. the bike is all set for teh trails with full underbody skid plates.. only problems with teh bike would be teh blue plastics are stress marked and often throw off teh appearance.. however this was a problem with all 2000 shees so if you so wish i will swap my 01 plastics over if you whish to ahve better looking ones.... im asking 2700 and can deliver within a reasonable distance for an additional fee.... if you are interested let me know and i will post a few pics. this quad was exceptionally maintained and my reason for selling is im goin to college 800 miles away in sept and wont have the time to ride...

what i did was lossened up the center screw then aligned teh clutch arm on teh top of teh case.. align so pointer on clutch arm matches up wit case marker then tighten the screw till u feel it tighten and start to put pressure on the clutch arm at this point stop and back off a little then tighten nut... i then put teh rear end up in teh air and checked to amke sur cltuch was engaging adn disengaging properly then put cover on... its important you do this right it will save u alot of time.. first time i did a clutch i got it all back together had to drain coolant oil adn pull foot peg adn kick start off again to readjust.. major pain in the ass get it right the first time!!!

just rebuitl banshee lower end and top end... did not touch gears our any of tranny components.. during teh first 2 hours of breaking in the shifter went sloppy and stoppe shifting... quad now only shifts from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 2nd.... Can anyone help me diagnose my problem??? Please Help!! need to fix fast so i can sell for college

i have toomey t5's ona non running banshee and fatty's on my other too banshee i have never roade a banshee with t5's i was wondering if anyone had dyno charts comparing teh two.. also opinions on which one is better would be appreciated? i have also heard of someone running fatty's with toomey silencer any power gain from that??

that slow.. hmm it must be the way teh powerband hits that makes it feel so much faster than it really is.. i know that my heavily modded shee is bout twice as fast as my piped one tho that has to be pullin 6's or 5's easily twice as fast.. anyone else got a clue?

i;ve driven fast cars the new corvette and recentyl teh a new subaru wrx sti which i hit 120 in but my biggest thrill is my modded shee.. i want to compare 0-60 times... what will piped banshee run for 0-60 times??
