Iv been running a noss head for about 3 years now. I gots a red one like justin's. quick story, when I first bought my head I could not get the biggest O-ring to sit in the groove. Grease didnt help, there was just no way in hell that O-ring was going seat in that groove. A few emails with David and some measureing we found the groove was cut too shallow. david hooked me up with new and iv never had a problem since. Ever since that first experience with Noss, iv been telling everyone I know about his heads and the FANTASTIC customer service that comes with em. David, you keep up that great customer support, its definitely appreciated. BTW, I gots me a couple of yellow and black Noss stickers !!!! love em, thanks.

Id say for just ridin' around in the sand, the stock rims should work fine. You dont have to worry about hitting any rocks. I*think* alot of those dune-doods run the thinnest aluminum rims sold cause they dont have to worry about rocks denting the rims. Whats the thicness of the blue label Douglas rims, .110 ??? Here's how it was explained to me. The reed spacers will add volume to the crankcase. Additional crankcase volume reduces the air\fuel mixtures velocity\pressure. Lower crankcase pressure will smooth out the powerband. No hp gains or losses, but they just make the power come on smoother and with less of a "hit". Might be benifical for mx or xc racing.

I dont even try to ride in the snow anymore. Last time I rode was December 1st(first day of buck season) and im jonesin' to go for a ride. My engine is torn down, I do my "winter maintence" this time of the year, get her ready for next spring. I did my winter maintence last year, and I didnt have any mechanical problems all spring\summer\fall, except for the time I lost my rear brake caliper

yea just take off the sidecase. Kind of a pain in the ass to take the sidecover off, but its easy to do, you just gotta unbolt some stuff like the kickstarter..... You prolly needed to change your oil anyways If your carefull taking the cover off you can usually re-use the gasket. Just wiggle it off slow and use a mallet to tap on it.

all the helmet cams iv priced where way outta my price range, they usually cost upwards of $300 + dollars. Now we've all seen those little internet spy cams that sell for 99 bucks and less. why cant I hook up something like that to a camcorder ?

internet options...... advanced tab..... microsoft VM. I just turned off the "java console"........ "java logging" is not enabled...... and I have "jit" enabled. Jit compiler for virtual machine enabled" is the only thing I have a checkmark next too. So I just rebooted cause i turned off the java console ...... clicked on the chatroom link..... and...... nothing. firewall is still down..... see it just plain sucks ass. Im gonna give up tonight.

yea... it didnt work. i downloaded and installed the files. it wanted me to reboot so I did. rebooted and went to my internet options and bam there it was, the options for java. the virtual machine was installed and was enabled. The "java console" option is there now too, and it wasnt selected. So I put a check in the box to enable the java console. Enabling the java console required another re-boot.... so I rebooted a second time. Things are looking good so far, so I come back to this thread to get the link for the chatroom, click it and nothing.... i waited and waited and no chat window, nothing but a few icons that didnt do a damn thing when I clicked on em. Again... why is so hard to chat to on the internet, we put a man on the moon but we cant make a simple "click to enter" chatroom that doesnt require 30 steps and 2 hours of time.

You have to have a bachlors degree in computer science to use it, thats whats wrong with it. Everytime someone tries to help me use mirc they say "oh its easy" and then they give me a list of 500 things I need to do to set it up. And I still cant get it to log onto anything. mirc is a big pain in the ass. its just like the guys who cant figure out how to post pictures here, to some guys its easy , but the poor guys who cant post the pictures are completely lost when you start telling em they need a picture host, and upload and copy\paste URLs and crap like that. Let me try to remember the instructions for mirc. it logs you onto a server as soon as it starts up, but its not the server you need, so change the server to "whatever". to change servers you gotta do .... blah blah blah... now log onto the new server and open the channel box and type \bansheehq and usually it doesnt find that channel so you gotta f*ck around with the server thing again, then try the channels thing again. then it tells you that you need a password cause your not the administrator or there's no such channel. So you try the little number sign(#) then the backslash (\) then the name of the room and that never works. then mirc has six thousand options and settings that I have no idea what they do. WHAT THE HELL DOES "FINGER" MEAN? it drives me nuts....... that damn mirc. Does someone wanna make a billion dollars. Heres an idea..... make a chat room program, where you click the word "enter" and your in the damn chatroom. I dont have time or patience for fingering, server changing, channel surfing and all the bullshit I get whenever I try MIRC. I have chatted with MIRC in the past, I did figure it all out, but 75% of the time I couldnt get into the room cause it either didnt exist or I didnt have the admistrator password or the room was locked, or 20 other problems. Get me a one or two click chat room !!!!! im too old for this shit, im fired up now.... where's my hammer.... i need to go break something btw im downloading those java files right now. i'll betcha they dont work for me.....
