  1. ahh dont cut em !! they're valuable. You can sell a nice set of stock headlights on ebay for $75-100 bucks. Sell your stock lights and then go to AutoZone and get a set of 35 watt tractor backup lights. They only cost $20, they dont have the grills and if you'd see em on a Banshee, you'd never know they're not stockers. Even those Madeyes light covers fit on em perfect. And as a bonus they put out a better beam than the stock lights can, they have better reflectors and I think the bulbs are superior. Iv been using these autozone lights for years now and never had a problem with em. And side by side brightness compared to a banshee with stock headlight, the Autozones are brighter and the beams cast a perfect light.
  2. CBS apologized on Sunday for an unexpectedly R-rated end to its Super Bowl halftime show, when singer Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jackson's top, exposing her breast. "CBS deeply regrets the incident,'' spokeswoman LeslieAnne Wade said after the network received several calls about the show. The two singers were performing a flirtatious duet to end the halftime show, and at the song's finish, Timberlake reached across Jackson's leather gladiator outfit and pulled off the covering to her right breast. The network quickly cut away from the shot, and did not mention the incident on the air. Timberlake said he did not intend to expose Jackson's breast. "I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl,'' Timberlake said in a statement. ``It was not intentional and is regrettable.'' Wade said CBS officials attended rehearsals of the halftime show all week, ``and there was no indication any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to CBS' broadcast standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended.'' The Super Bowl halftime show, which also featured P. Diddy, Nelly and Kid Rock, was produced by MTV, CBS' corporate cousin in Viacom. "We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced halftime show,'' Joe Browne, NFL executive vice president, said. ``They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime.'' MTV issued a contrite statement in which it also apologized, saying the incident was ``unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional and was inconsistent with assurances we had about the content of the performance.''
  3. yea you should have front shocks setup for the +3 or +2 arms. If you buy aftmkt shocks they will ask you about the A-arms your using.
  4. What an asshole. He's got a lot of nerve calling her a skank. Some moderators just dont care about thier members.
  5. Good game !! does anyone know what the spread is\was on this game ??
  6. Yea thats where I thought you were talkin about. I used to take Candy back there all the time. We'll have to hop in your truck and go exploring soon. Only problems I have with that spot is how close to the road it is. Plus id like to have a lake close by. Plus... isnt that place kinda a littered up. Not the nicest looking place. There might be 10, 15, 20+ people camping there.
  7. I think the sand pits is too far deep into the strippins to be a practical spot. The mile is too far into the strippins too, plus cops can get there if they wanted too and your not gonna get away if we're at the mile, not that we'll have any cop related problmes, but ya never know. Think about "the canyon" area. Im not too familar with that side of the strippins, but I do know there's some nice wooded sections back there, plus the canyon is right there if we wanna swim. I used to love jumpin off those 20 foot cliffs at the canyon. Another plus is, you can get a truck back there, but not a cop car. Not alot of people ride back there compared to "the flats", "coal hill" or "the sand pits". Me and dad did some deer hunting last year near the canyon. Its nice back there. But im open to all suggestions, I wanna keep an open mind. Jeff Taylors' camp is out at the end of the "third patch" road, about 3 miles past "the whaleback\caves". That area is ugly tho, always muddy. It takes 30 mintutes to drive back to Jeff's camp. What about someplace off the "mile road" ?? What about someplace near the "trolly tracks"??
  8. Yea, but dont you think thats awfully close to the highway, and its not too scenic either, kinda barren moonscape lookin'. Id like to be back in the woods a little ways. Lets make a place thats permantly ours..... a place where your not going to have the state cops drive too if they see our campfire. Where at that "small canyon" would you build a camp ?
  9. yea on turnaround time, when you get mine take your time with it, I wont need it for awhile. Im planning on doing my topend in a few days, so I wont need it back for atleast a month and a half.
  10. Welcome to the boards Chencer. You wrote....... What do you mean "small canyon". Are you talkin' about "the canyon" swimming hole ??
  11. Here's a link to a freinds website that shows some pictures of Coal Hill. He was out there today and took some pictures, they're at the bottom of the page, and there's more on the next page, click on the "click here" at the bottom of that first page to see a few more pics. Feb 1st '04 Coal Hill Pictures
  12. im cheerin for da patriots. carolina beat my eagles so they can go to hell.
  13. Bump I just wanna add, at first I wasnt to crazy about the whole moderator idea(Im not alone on that fear) and I was afraid this forum would run by a bunch of Hitlers that dictated and monitored every word we wrote. Well I think its about time I said thankyou to the moderators for not ruining this forum, listening to the concerns of the members about overmoderating and not letting the power go to your heads. I think the moderators here at BHQ are doing an excellent job. Thank god(and the mods), we can say and do almost anything we want too. There's nothing worse than an overmoderated forum. FREE SPEECH RULES. BansheeHQ rules !!
  14. You wont need long travel shocks with +3 wider A-arms, your thinking "long travel" A-arms, he's talking about A-arms that instead of +2, they are +3 wider. You will need longer brake lines tho, stocks one just barely reach with +2, you should have a new set of stainless steel brake lines anyways. Gotta keep in mind that AMA rules only allow the max width on your front end to be 50 inches total. If you race a non sanctioned track you could possibly go wider depending on thier rules, but 50 inches is max for any ama races. Get the +1 forward A-arms, I dont think it would hurt ya when if your still running the stock length swingarm, then in the future when you shorten your swingarm, your A-arms are allready +1 so you dont have to buy another set of A-arms. +1 forward on the A-arms and -2 on the swingarm is a hot setup. The +1 longer wheelbase is not as drastic to your handling as the -2 swingarm is. The shorter swingarm really moves that geometery around, its like riding a whole new style frame with a shorty swingarm, and its even better when you have the front end forward +1. BTW, welcome to BansheeHQ.
  15. how old are you ? did you say your 21 ? Thats what I thought you said. seriously tho, i'll bring some milk for you guys
  16. did you have the hot pipe\hotter pipe problem before you changed your main jets ?? Its odd that you say its running great, cause first thing I think is the one carb float might be sticking.
  17. does it have the footpeg updates\upgrade ?? How many miles, how many races have you raced with it?
  18. B370, you should keep this banshee and make it a trail machine. -2 swingarm it
  19. Holyman, i got my kicker all boxed up ready to ship it, I just havent made it too the post office yet. I'll prolly get it out to you on Monday.
  20. hazelton is about an hour away, philly is more like 3+ hours away. Iv heard of Drums and Larksville, but im not sure exacty where they're at. I'm going to recruit a few of my freinds(drag em away from thier women) to help find and make a nice safe place to camp. Maybe, ahem, one of my buds will post to this thread so we can figure out where to camp. Im thinking, the woods near "The Canyon" would be nice and secluded. You could drive back there with a truck, its got a killer swimming hole\lake and its pretty far off the beaten path. I too would like to see this happen in the summer time. Nice 85+ degree June or July day. The 4th of July weekend the strippins gets packed with offroaders, its crazy up there on that weekend. That weekend also brings the cops around. Gotta remember, this place is a little rough. Your gonna find some rocks and ruts, prolly run over a little glass and whatnot so everyone should bring a can of fix-a-flat and some plugs. Run the strongest rims you own. There's one worthy bike shop in the area, about 20 miles out of town called Gap Racing if you'd need to buy oil or whatever. But the place is almost always closed and its never open on the weekends, so bring everything you need. 94 octane sunoco gas is available, but race gas is not, bring your own race gas. Everyone bring some good food, i'll cut up a few soupies and bring some killer deer burgers. First case of Yuengling Lagers in on me. As for letting the vehicals sit unattended, i'll try to get a camp babysitter. I have a few freinds that dont ride, so maybe they can watch the campsite, fry up some burgers, get a fire going, get shitfaced etc etc while we're out riding. Boonman Im buyin the Yuengling so get your married beer swizzlin' ass down here. Wondering, have you guys ever heard of Knoebles amusement park ? Knoebles is 10 miles down the road from my place. Top notch camping there, big amusement park with 3 giant rollercoasters and every ride you can think of.
  21. First bike was an Artic Cat mini bike, 50cc's. I was 7 or 8 years old. Next bike was my dad's ol' Suzuki TC185 when I was 10.
  22. only bitch about the janssen is, its gonna cost you about $250 more than the quicksand swingarm. Shop wisely grasshopper.
  23. AHHAAAAHHAHAA this is the first time iv read this thread. Made my day NYUK, thanks !! I say, if this dude ships nyuk a turd, nyuk should post this guys address and everyone here can send him a "present". Imagine this kid getting 800 boxes of shit sent to his house everyday for 2 weeks. We have 10,000 members here dont we, thats alot of shit. LOL.
  24. I will be voting Democrate this year. Gotta get this guy out of the white house. Everything in that list is 100% true. I made more money during Clintons years, I didnt have to worry about job security and I made a better living 5 years ago than I do now. The stock market has tanked sinced Bush has been in charge, even tho its doing better now, it always goes up during election years. I havent had a raise at my job in 3 years, no cost of living raise, nothing. It seems the whole world despises the USA, unlike in the past when everyone looked up to us. George can hardly spit out a sentence without bumbling over any big words. And everytime I hear him speak, he says the word "resolve" 100 times, and that made up word "evil do'er's". What a moron, what an embarrasement. I hope he get beats 10 times worse than his dad did. I couldnt beleive it when Clinton eliminated the deficit, that was a major feat. Bush squandered that surplus money and put us deep in the hole again. So what does he do, he cuts taxes then asks for 80 billion to rebuild Iraq and now wants a trillion+ to go to Mars. My grandkids will be paying the taxes for that Mars trip. Please vote this year and get this guy out of office.
  25. Let me tell you more about the place I ride. we call it "the strippins". Its private property owned by the coal company that mined the land 70+ years ago. Its abandoned now, except for a few small local mines that you'll never see. Its aproxx 20 square miles, but Id bet that number could go up to 30+ square miles if you ride the land past the main part of the strippins. Iv been riding here since iv been 8 years old, im 31 now, so I know every little part of this place, I can take ya's to mud, I can take you to dense woods, I can take you to wide open throttle 3 mile stretchs of old haul road, I can take you to giant coal hill with its massive mountain of manmade fun and its 50 smaller hills, I can take you through a section of 100 whoops, I can take you to 5 smaller riding areas within the strippins like the sand pits, mud road, the crane, the mile, the uke sheds, I can take you to 10 giant man made lakes where we could cool off with a swim or even catch some fishys, there's one lake called "the canyon" that has 150 foot sheer walls surrounding the lake, there's 20 foot cliffs you can dive from, or we could ride the old trolly tracks that used to have a trolly to bring people from the towns of Shamokin to Treverton, no more tracks and no more trollys just WOT big trail in the woods. I can take you an abandon coal shovel thats twice the size of your house and you could park a car in the shovels bucket. We have a small 2 minute race track thats great for kids and beginners, there's no big jumps on it, but its fun as hell. There's a full weekend worth of riding here. There's campsites all over, but most of them are "owned" by locals. One thing I have never done is setup a campsite of my own. But me, my son and a few buddies have allready made plans to build a nice campsite deep in the strippins so we dont have to worry about state cops or getting too loud-drunk. so thats my sales pitch for the strippins coalfest. If it goes down, i'll make sure that campsite is found, built and ready for campin. Hell we could spend all day just at "coal Hill"
