Easiest way to get back on our good side would be to take some naked pics of her and post them up here. Promise we wont tell her or complain about it. -
Not new to quads/mx bikes, but new to me Banshee w/ RZ350
rubberneck replied to Acammer's topic in General Banshee Discussion
My opinion is to ditch the 2 into everything and run some 33 pwks and trinity stage 4 pipes. I mention the stage 4 because i know they will fit without modification and clear the RZ head. My buddy runs this set up and it is a great all around bike. i bet at the top when the valves are fully open, that 2 into pipe and carb is costing you more than you think. An RZ bike properly set up will run right with a mildly ported banshee motor all day, at least my buddies does. They are fun -
before you pull anything apart, just tap the bowl with the handle of a screwdriver or a small extension. A lot of times the float is just stuck and this will free it and fix the problem. If it persists then pull the bowl and clean it.

Whos on first..................... Jesus christ would you guys just shut the fuck up already and agree that you will burn roughly twice the fuel. LOL post whores

i run 5 to 6 degrees of positive caster ( top of spindle slanted toward back of bike) and 1 degree of negative camber (top of wheel leaning in toward bike) I also run 1/8 inch of toe in. This setting works great on a dune and trail bike. The more caster the more difficult the bike is to turn, but more stable at high speed (bike wants to stay straight) Asphalt drag bikes run up to 12-13 degrees. All measurements should be made with rider on bike as settings change as suspension is loaded.

hmmm. I have a set of Herr 4 mil cylinders that are pretty aggressive, not sure they are for him and they do have the ports so prolly not. they run pretty much just like my cub, so i would say super hot dune port/drag port. to much for me in my duner, im detuning.
-
How aggressive are you looking for? what type of riding?

a strectched chain will cause extremely fast wear on the rear sprocket. I just went through this with 1 of my bikes. The chain was relatively new, only a few rides, but it started eating rear sprockets. Im talking fast like 2 tanks of fuel. Replaced the chain and life was good again. I am contributing it to a bad chain from the factory. The bike makes power but not enough to do something crazy like that.

He parted it quite some time ago

i painted my cases and cylinders using Dupont chromabase 2 stage automotive paint, and quite frankly very dissapointed with how well it has held up. i used primer recomended by the paint store intended for aluminum, and i have several areas that have lifted. I am actually pulling motor apart now to powder coat the cases and cylinders.

you have much more experience than i in that field, but at this point, i cant see any advantage to an i phone over the droid really. Not for what i need it to do. so far i love the droid
-
update: I have had the droid for a week, now and couldnt be happier. Very fast on the internet, and i love being able to run multiple apps at once. the google maps is nice too. Austin and dave, i have no idea what the fuck you guys are talking about, but i will be emailing you when i have phone questions. LOL
-
LOL i think PNWbanshee pretty much summed it up. You could also add braces to the steering stem hoop they bend pretty easy
-
you shouldnt have to. I dont.
-
perhaps chain too tight?
-
Hey nice truck, but how about some more pics of the hot ass redhead

sweet good info, im pretty sure im going to go droid, just need to make it down to the verizon store and get it done.
-
cool thanks guys, im gonna go in there next week i think and just take a look at everything. I have to do something cause my env is about dead, randomly shuts down, no battery life. My contract with verizon isnt up untill feb, and no way this phone is going to last this long, so more than likely I have a feeling i will be going to the droid over the I -phone. To be perfectly honest with you i dont really know what i want in a phone, I dont even know what options there are as far as features, i just wanted something that i could surf the net on. I never really thought about email and such, but that would kick ass.. Thanks for all the info on the blackberry, austin but you lost me. I dont even know what the hell blackberry messenger is, ive never used one. i get my email through clearwire, which i check online now, so i guess it would work fine with any phonethat has net access, but it would be cool to get notification, ill have to ask them if that is possible with clearwire. Ill call you this week, so you can explain everything to me aand tell me what i want cause i sure as hell dont know LOL

yummy ice cream,

i am concerned about this without a doubt, i dont have a good history with phones, i tend to be a little tough on them. I guess i will have to change my ways if i go to a smart phone. Yeah, that is my next step i guess, just wanted to talk to some guys that had one in their hands and get their opinions. Im not a real tech savy guy and i know there are several guys here that are into that kind of stuff

Sorry, this is the best pic i have on this computer, if you zoom in on the image, you can see the spot i masked off before i shot my frame. It is about 5 inches in front of the foot peg bolt i believe

did you apply a think layer of oil or grease to the seal when you put it together? it is possible to burn a seal if installed dry. Just throwing it out there

Taking packing out of pipes...
rubberneck replied to bakersfieldturbo's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
from you sig i see you ride pismo, do yourself and everybody else a favor and leave the silencers on and packed. The tree hugger fags and locals are already trying their best to shut us down, cause they can hear the bikes in town on the weekends. Personally i think its all the douchebags with the 4 pokes as that sound carries farther but non the less all the power in the world wont do you any good if they shut down your riding spots. Not trying to be a debby downer, but seriously, and i promise you wouldnt notice the difference in performance -
I ran shearer inframes on my duner 421 cub, it ran hard. CPIs are supposed to come on a bit earlier and that may be an advantage if the bike is not a strict drag bike. I have never tried the CPIs but would probably go that route if i were doing it over. Shearer pipes fit like shit and the chrome is horrible. I have a set of inframes and oof and Ill never buy another shearer pipe.

My phone is taking a crap and i have been trying to limp it alon until the end of january so i can drop verizon and get an I-phone. Well verizon just released the Droid, and i am interested. Just dont want to make a mistake and wish i would have gone for the I-phone and then be strapped to verizon for another 2 years. So anybody know anything about the droid. I mostly want to be able to surf the web get my emails and listen to music.
