I think hes talking about the wristpin circlips loco, he cant find one. If you got realy lucky it might have gone out exhaust, but you will never know, take the time to split it or you will be here next week looking for a crank, at least thats the wy my luck runs

the boost bottle wont affect anything. And at 4500 ft, i think 330s will put you pretty rich, i run 330s at sea level with t5s. I bet you end up in the 300 range or less, not sure because i have not personally jetted procircuits but pretty sure they dont require larger mains than t5s

nope, its sitting on my kitchen counter

You might want to PM onesickcrewcab on here. He has a drag ported 485 cheetah top end and matching cases for sale. It was ported and all machine work done by LC performance. He has videos of it tearing up the drags, motor ran hard. Right now he has powervalve blockoffs on it, but im sure you could add the powervalves rather easily.

Ordered a tranny and kicker from doug, he shipped it out the same day. Good dude to deal with and great communication.

Banshee Parts. F/S price drop.
rubberneck replied to x_doug_x's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Got the tranny today, looks great, thanks for the fast shipping -
if it were me i would tear it all the way down and weld the crank (if it wasnt already done.) I have had 2 cranks separate on me. The first grenaded. I just tore down my other bike last week and the left side had started to move. (had way too much end play on the rod) and overall width of crank was beyond spec. Pull it down now inspect/weld it and save yourself some drama later on

I had shearers on my 421 on gas in a play bike, and i really wanted to try some cpi's For a play bike im thinking cpis would have been the ticket. The shearers are either off or on, but so is the cub, so i cant say first hand. I just see most of the play guys with cpis and if it were me i think id leave the 33s. I bet you will gain minimum on top but lose on the bottom

chrome cpi from cascade innovations
rubberneck replied to rudyjaime2's topic in General Banshee Discussion
A lot of chrome shops wont touch used pipes because the oil and carbon and shit in the pipe will contaminate their tank. i would do as was mentioned, and take the refund then buy a new set from them -
chrome cpi from cascade innovations

if they offered you your money back after 7 months id say they are being more than fair. I have seen their chrome and it is great usually. Maybe it was a bad spot in the weld to begin with. Crap happens even to people who do it correctly. A spot the size of a sharpy point is nothing, you should see the bullshit that shearer sent me on my inframes -
it depends on how picky you are on your chrome. I have 2 sets of shearers. 1 set about 2 years old and a set about 4 months old. The newer set is better, but I dont think i would call any of it show chrome even though thats what they call it. You will see scratches pits and the welds look OK at best IMHO. But i cant say as ive seen any pipe manufacture that really looks great. If you are concerned with having perfect chrome, i would order them from Cascade they get them raw then have their chromer do it. YOU WILL pay quite a bit more though. Just depends on if your priority is price or looks.

10 mill super cub for sale
rubberneck replied to wickedshee's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I hear what you are saying that you have it all boxed and ready to go. The thing is, bikes and motors are funny. They seem to be worth more in pieces than whole. For instance a bike worth 5k will part for 8-9K easy, there are several guys who have done this in the last couple of months with nice bikes. Motor is same story. Take the time to tear it down. If the motor is out of the bike, you can have it completely apart in less than an hour. I think it will be worth your time, but that is your decision to make. Good luck with your sale. -
Is it plastic or fiberglass? Maybe HS customs if its glass
-
So sounds like it was really close based on your statement that if he didnt leave first you would take him. And let me see if i understand. you have pipes carbs and a cool head and his bike was stock? I think dave told you earlier it would end this way. Stock for stock yfz will kick a shees ass, and bolt on for bolt on its close depends on rider skill and surface. Maybe we can go a day or 2 without one of these threads popping up now.

Dajo is just pissed cause he wasted all that money on fancy drag parts. Everybody knows banshees are the fastest bestest greatest bikes ever. With cut/welded stock pipes and a half plugged air filter and 4 degrees retarded timing my 87 shee with stock topend and partially separated crank will whip the shit out of every 450 made and kills those weak ass raptor 700s too. Its a stand up bike too which makes it faster than one of those lame ass sit down bikes. Wanna race dave ill give ya 5 lengths plus the hit dawg.

10 mill super cub for sale
rubberneck replied to wickedshee's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Look, i dont have a dog in this fight, but i will throw out an observation. With all this bullshit bantering going on back and forth, you arent helping yourself sell this motor. Honestly, i think the only way in hell you will sell this thing here is to open it up and display the parts for everyone to see. Too many questions at this point. Its been stated it was a low hour 10mil supercub, then it became a 7mil cylinder ported for 10mil. Stated that RDZ ported it but then he supposedly denied porting it in another post. Open it up man, and you will get your money for the parts. Nobody here is calling you out, but everybody is cautious these days as there have been some crap deals go down around here lately. If everything is as you stated, that is a fair deal, but I think anybody willing to spend that much is going to want assurance as to what they are getting. My free advice, take it for what its worth. -
so does anybody have a link to the videos that dont require a fuckin PHD in computer science to watch. chris lost me at download
-
i concur if you ride where chris is always showing those vids, i wouldnt get a cub, do a stock cylinder
-
snope, you can hook us up with the battery packs and harness and everything required to do the helmet light right? what beam are you using on the helmet? Im thinking maybe a driving beam on the helmet and a spot and driving beam on the handlebars. What do you think
-
yeah, ive heard that about you eric

chad kicks ass, i just bought a stator, clutch cover, lockup, chain tensioner, throttle, hinson basket with straight cuts, and a billet bumper from him. I bought paddles from him in the past. He sends detailed pics and is honest about condition of everything. Dont hesitate to buy from him.

Elka shocks and +2+1 A-arms
rubberneck replied to moneybags's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Money i have a set of stocker a-arms in great shape, and stock shocks, how much cash you want. the shcoks i have have white springs i believe, but i have black shockwears for them. the a-arms are silver -
do yourself a favor and buy a cable luber. Lube it every time you ride and you will not believe how much easier the clutch pull will be. I spray lube in the top until i see clean lube come out the bottom. works like a charm
