Robinson transmissions does all the trannies by me hes local and does all my streety bike shit,(bullet proof).I had similar problems with wcr,its like he didnt do nice machine work .I had to chuck the drum in my rotary table and remachine some transitional areas so the forks would not hang up.I have a 1-4 5th,6th clutch in 4 bikes I have built from wcr,I havnt had issues with any yet after small mods but my next tranny will be a robinson 1-6

I had an issue like yours once.Someone put a coolhead rite over a stock gasket and clamped it down,from the motor running the head gasket walks around a little and grooves the cylinder.So when I rebuilt this motor I put it together the rite way and it blew o-rings as soon as it got hot enouph for the head to start walking.I redecked the cylinders .012 and problem was solved

Aleak down is 6psi for 6 min and if it holds its not an air leak.Compression is way low if you ask me and prob a bitch to start.other than that plug reading can be missleading if spark isnt rite,ohm out plug caps anything over 7 needs new caps/coil,mine usually come in/around 5.5 on a meter,look for harness problems you would be surprised the issues i have had because of a hacked repair of electrical
  4. I just put the r2s on my boys bike last night,I bought them just to have around my garage for my test bike.He somehow coaxed me into trying them for a street session,well on a radar gun he picked up 7mph over the t-5s. Plus everyone has t-5s

  7. Irun 17-40 to the 1/4,on a prted bike,last night I marked off the 1/8 mile at my local test spot.w/15-41 gearing I hit 98 mph on a radar gun.not the most accurate way but it might help.I was just fucking around witgh my new toy

  9. Everytime they come outI use something called seal all,I get it at ace hardware and its gas and oil resistant,its happened over 10 times in a couple of years and havnt had a call back yet
  10. I would stick with the 8 series plugs,+7 on the timing plate.Its prob a clean up in which case you might end up in the mid 170s with the main.The only thing im not 100% is the 38mm pwks I have never seen a set come throuh here but im pretty sure they jet similar.They love timing .
  11. i SET UP A CUSTOMERS BIKE with these carbs,he had an aggressive port job,19 cc domes,vf3s,pro-circiuts,I ended up at 140 mains,55 pilot.These carbs liked big pilots.This is also a bike that I did a staggered port map,The bottom end is unbeleivable.I think I was at 188 on the exhaust side.I did have a problem getting them 100% the way I like it.He ended up putting 33pwks on and problems stopped I dont think the carb gave enouph fuel at full throttle
  12. The rigid im building I incorporated an adjustable torsion bar on hiem joints to preload the rear,similar to preloading a 4link set-up,my bar on my stock frame bike is hard rubber like a roller blade wheel(one wheel),but my bike is short and does not have tracking problems
  13. Did you pressure test the motor 4 air leaks?That def could be the issue,air leak

Drag port or clean-up.An almost identical set-up for the 1/4 was 55pilot 185 main 39pwks with .I jetted a passion cub last night w/35mm pwks and all the same mods as you.cel needle 4th clip,160main,48,pilot.I would start at 185 main and work down,52 pilot.Im at sea level so you will need to be leaner than me but a size or two not much.Just remember every motor is diffrent I have also jetted cubs that came in at 152 mains.With your set-up start high ,its safe

  16. Its drag ported by FAST,I have never dynoed it but I stomp a proven 95 horse ported cub with very simil;ar set up I built both bikes.What kind of price can I be expecting for these tires
  17. Stock cyl,4mil,overide,+6 arm,wheelie bar.Im 200lbs and am set-up for asphault im looking to go to a dirt drag nearby and need paddles,supposidly its a beach sand /dirt mix.

  19. I built the same set-up for a good friend with shearer inframes.I jetted in the winter 162 main,50 pilot,cel4th clip.Could have used a smaller pilot but bottom doesnt affect us much

  24. If you want the stock tranny due to rules put a shift kill button clutch side to interupt the ignition.No clutch needed!Or an air shifter same principle
