  1. 1.5 rubber outside caps w/clamp,1" for stock carbs

It might be cheaper getting a new crank(used crank) then fixing that one.It looks like its rusted or something or bronzed from heat.Those crank need to be pressed apart ,old parts replaced and pressed together,trued up and welded for security.Unless you have some nice machinery you cant just replace them.

I also stagger my ports, boost port being the highest 1mm or more depending on my set up or intended use.I have noticed a big midrange diffrence.I have done it on alot of test pieces but also tested same set of jugs both ways.The transfer tunnels on a banshee motor need some work,alot of power needs to be supported

I bought a set of those carbs and the guy they came from was running 15 pilots in them,my motor was ported to hell and needed 30 pilots if thats a base for you,if you can email me a pic of the pilot jets I might have them in stock in alot of sizes,ill send you them for shipping.Mikunis run diffrent the only one on this site with good experiance and knowledge with theses carbs is probanly snopzynski,look him up he pops up here and there

    How long you running?Porting is a must you best beleive everyone else is!Drag pipe,bigger carb,tranny,clutch.My buddy has had alot of luck with turbo marks on the crank to throw fuel,reeds,mill the shit out of the head.What class are you looking to get into.You need to call a site sponsor send them the motor have it degreed to see how far you can go,have it ported for all out drag if thats whats going on.I dont see why 40hp is not obtainable with the rite cash flow
  12. I have been doing alot of tuning(not motor) and alot of passes,I still cant get my mph up like you tho,but im getting there.I have also been hitting 300ft

I have the same base bike I paid 7500 out the door with fatties,nerfs and bumpers when I got it,so 11000 is not that far fetched for me.base price and my motor was well over 11,000 with nothing else.Do I think its worth it hell no I would be lucky to get 4500 for my bike in this economy,my buddy is selling a 421 cub with 2 passes on it stock frame drag bike all powder/chrome,wheelie bar for 4500 with no takers for over a year

Get a lockout clutch and tune it like a 2-step,if your clutch is set it and forget it you become consistant.I also learned a hell of a lot from slower than you.If not for him I would still be trying to slip a lockout out of the hole.I get to the line hold it wide open and dump the clutch and let the lockout do its thing,my 60ft times are in the 1.4s now which affects the whole run.If you dont want 2 do a tranny do a shift kill button so you dont have to use the clutch,staying on the pipe is a big deal.I allways launch in first

  20. also cut domes will not work because of the deck height being almost zero,so if your domes are cut for a 4mil squish would be non existent
  21. On gas I was told by jeff the needles that come with the 39mm pwks are not ghanged out I left them alone and they are perfect

  23. I think your rich,I have jetted many cubs,some came in at 162,50 but they have ranged as low as 150 mains,45 pilots at sea level,every motor is diffrent
