  1. I have seen people argue this issue alot,in banshee world we use them to clear bigger carbs or just put them there because we have them.I dont think you will see any increase.In theory it should make the intake runner longer for better atomizing

I have seen many clips spit out,whats your compression like in that cylinder,how bad is the cylinder,In an emergency race situation I have ran somepeoples bike with just throwing a new clip in so they can race,but compression was stil good,get in the habbit of rotating the clip 180 out from the hole by the wrist pin and make them all the same this way you know if they are moving when you rip it down.

  4. Im not critisizing you about using the math,I have used the math for a while.I didnt even know they made a 1mm spacer plate.If you bolt those plates up and run it on a wheel those numbers will change,without looking at my papers I would say those transfer numbers off by more than a few.
  5. 27.5 pilots for that set up should be fine,with the lid vented you should be at 260 mains,stock needles all the way rich,some people disagree but here in Long island it works,If you take the lid off 280 mains

Did you go through everything in the harness,sounds like a safety on the ignition.In any case start with the four wire plug from the stator,unwrap it to make sure of wire cont.Check the grounds,tors box is removed properly,parking brake safety is removed properly,You should be able to test from ground mount by cdi to the motor and get continuity.That really sounds like your slides are in wrong tripping a safety but I forgot if you had stock carbs.Any problems hit me up I have done a ton of custom harnesses for these things im sure youll figure it out

  8. the problems you were having with the clutch excessive wear on the inner and outter hub and the clutch ball was a 1/4 of its orginal size. second problem was stater was bent and fly wheel welded itself tp the crank, crank seal was bad on stater side. case halves were put together with blue rtv, whoever put the cylinders on decided it was a good idea to use a wiz wheel to clean the gasket surface. cylinders were 100 over, skirt was missing along with sleeve.

I have this motor in my possesion and WOW this thing is fucked,I also have had his 450r motor in for regular maintnance/service(a solid piece)everything was brand new and to spec.The 450r motor was a 13.5/1 motor and cant be run on pump gas,but anyway I hope his house went on fire and the quad and I hope to see his ass one day its a small world out there!The staten ilsand boys are great people and would never fuck anyone,I hope to see pics of the 450 blown up so I can compare as I have pics of the quad as well and the inside.Dont worry guys ill hook you up I just pulled some cylinders out of the canal that will run great and the crank I just welded the rods back on,should be a runner!!!
  12. He changed spring pressure on the shaft,added spring on the forks,changed the angle of the back cut,and did not angle cut forth gear at all.He told me he used my core in his test bike and could not get it to fail.We will see it doesnt look far off one of my dunables I got a few years ago
  13. I just got done with a custom harness in wacko 2000s bike with your relocation kit,my daighters communion is today but ill try to get some picks up before i give the bike back it looks sweey,plus I have a couple of ideas for that plate
  14. You need at least a 27.5 pilot and jack the needles all the way rich and see how you do

Dont get discouraged it took me 30 passes to get my clutch tuned rite for 60ft,the first 60ft will determine how well you get down the rest of the track,playing with spring pressure and weights I went from a 1.75 down to a 1.43.The diffrence was noticable down the whole track,im not giving times rite now due to a street race I have coming up, but mph was around 111 ,stock cyl 4mil.It takes time and patience
  16. I got my two trannies back from wcr.I assembled wacko 2000s motor and now have a tank of gas through it without any failure,it shifts smooth up and down and have no metal in the oil.Thank god, Ill get one more tank through it b4 I give him the ok to ride it but so far im happy
  17. Put it in v-blocks and check the bearing run out with a guage good to the .001

They all vibrate,who trued your crank?I have had set backs with cranks that were supposidly trued,luckily I check everything.When I put iot in the v-blocks it was .006 out.Many things can happen when welding a crank,I have to put almost 140amps into it just to get it hot enouph to fuse.I have checked true with crank in bike its just not easy

  22. On my stock cyl bike I ran 19/8/10 sd23 comp,17/39.Alot also is the ability of your motor to pull the gear.
