One of the best things you can do to improve your writing and spelling is to.....READ. Read as much as you can, as often as you can (Yes, you may read Playboy, as long as you read it cover to cover :biggrin:). Just remember, spell check and grammar check are nice tools to have and a good starting point, but DO NOT depend on them. The end goal is to write and spell without the use of computer tools. You definately deserve a big :thumbsup: for putting an effort into your writing and spelling...you will not be sorry!

I buy the spark plugs with the interchangeable electrodes..... :yelrotflmao: .....much easier to tune concave pistons with spring-loaded pressure valves.....

32:1 is a very common oil ratio, you should be fine with it. Oil Mixture Question Fuel Oil Ratios Oil Ratio Gas Oil Ratio you will find a lot of personal preference involved when selecting oil brand and mixture ratio! :thumbsup: Enjoy!

I use 21X11X8 8-paddle Haulers and and 21X11X8 8-paddle Edge, and the Edge turn and slide easier for me. I do prefer the Haulers, though. :wink:

Keep an eye on your intakes if you continue to use the boost bottle. The intakes may crack at the base of the rubber mounts where the bottle clamps to the intakes. Three of my buddies have had to replace cracked intakes. I am not saying they WILL crack, I am just saying they MAY crack. I would look into a cable lube kit and lubricate your clutch cable and throttle cable. :thumbsup:

I am surprised to hear that the Maxxis 4-snow do not work well...I have in the past used Pro-Wedge II in the sand, and they were awesome and very light, too. I ran them in the snow as well, but when I was in the sand I would install them to run the opposite direction so the blades would scoop like a sand paddle (the tires had an arrow to provide correct direction for mounting; the blades do not scoop for snow use). I do not remember my PWIIs being very heavy... If you are wanting a sand tire only, I would recommend Skat-Trak Haulers or Skat-trak Edge, 21X11X8- 8 paddles. I use both and like both of them. I do prefer the Haulers and do not seem to notice a big difference in turning most of the time. The Edge do seem to turn and slide a little easier. Both are very light as well. Those tires pictured above (Desert Storm) look mean.

Don't smash your fingers! Seriously, pay attention while you take the engine out, it sucks to smash a finger or three. :mad: That engine is heavy!

I am sorry to hear that your pipes don't fit well, mine fit like a champ, but they are a few years old. I used Cascade pipe clamps at the joints, and they keep the joints nice and tight. The pipes do not vibrate against the frame anywhere. I also used billet hangers front and rear. The fourth groove is counted down from the blunt end. The coolant over-flow bottle hose is routed back to the front of the bike, are you sure it is not spitting coolant? I am sure you would know the difference between brake fluid and coolant, but I know that the hose end is up front (at least it was on mine). If you run the 2:1 filter, it may sit closer to the left stinger than the right one, and the outerware will touch the pipe. I use a stand of safety wire around the filter to hold the outerware in place and away from the stinger. Works great for me. Do not over oil the filter, for it will get onto the outerware and dirt/dust will stick everywhere. Good luck with the rest of the work! :thumbsup:

I just measured one of mine, the thread length is 14mm. They are not 6Mx1.00, maybe 5Mx0.80.

The best feature with an aftermarket head is the capacity to change domes for desired compression. Of course, if you wanted to you could buy 5 or 6 stock heads and shave them in equal increments, you could have interchangeable heads instead of domes. :yelrotflmao:

I would use new head O-rings, maybe I am paranoid..... A $20.00 O-ring kit is not so bad compared to the expense of a ruined dune trip.
