  1. Put a team honda sticker on it. It's like 15 hp instant. it's gotta be true cuz i see Nissans with that across the top of the windshield :shoothead:
  2. saying boobs are good is a giant understatement. That hurt's my feelings gimme  hell man, they come in pairs for crying out loud!
  3. I dont see how fallowing speed limits, laws etc on the highway would give me the same thrill as my dirtbike and 4 wheeler does. I'm the type of person that likes to cut up when i ride so i'd get some tickets for sure. I almost positive i'd enjoy a street bike on the highway but for me, it's just not practical with the cost of one. People around here buy one..get tired of it quick then it's up for sale.
  4. I went with a Ricky Stator plate. Directions werent present and that sucks ass. I had to come here and search to figure out you use the line where the cases meet as a mark. I put lock tite on the 3 screws holding it on. So far so good. I dont see how one can be better than the other. Like they said, it's not under any stress because the stator goes after it and the flywheel spins over it. The only problem i can think of happening is the 3 screws coming un done from the engine's vibration. No big deal.
  5. No problem man. bolt on for bolt on, 450's will win. You gotta go beyond that like a port job. It's real easy if you dont mind not having ya bike for about 3 weeks. You need to figure out what you want, a playbike or a drag bike etc. Then see what kind of fuel you want to use and go from there. I wanted to have a playbike that was strong all around and ran on 93 octane. I didnt have to do much else but i did to make the port job shine. I talked it over with the guy who ported my stuff then we settled on something. Couldnt of been more happy. Personaly i wouldnt worry about being the fastest around. Just have fun with your bike. Keep it running good and all. I always think to myself, my bike is paid off and still cost less than 1/2 the price the 450's paid!
  6. Nothing is wrong with your bike, 450's are faster bolt on for bolt on. Go beyond that, and the shee starts the shine. stop all this compression nonsense and get a port job. You would shit your pants if you knew how much harder a ported shee pulls. get a port job(with supporting mods) lightened flywheel I was in your situation. I had t'6 pipes, noss head w/ 21cc domes, vf3 reeds and a few small other goodies. I was right behind the 450's like you are. I got a port job by flotek, sold my t6 pipes(to a fellow hq'er), got some t5's, adjustable timing plate, 20cc domes etc. While i was at it, i put a new top end in. You talk about haul some ass now! I havent raced any other bikes yet but i can care less if i am faster. I wanted a fun playbike and that's what i have.
  7. I got a 15t and my port job pulls it with no problem. Just go up a tooth or two in the front if your engine can pull it. Personaly, i like accerlation not top speed.
  8. While surfing the forums i look at people sigs. I see jet kits, jetted, rejetted etc in there. IMO, i dont think any of those are mods. I think a bike should be jetted correctly no matter what. I mean hell, all bikes are jetted, some just arent done right though. What do you guys think?
  9. you have a freakin 421 ported shee....no wonder you are faster I havent raced a 700 yet since the new port job but i suck at drag racing. I would probably do bad against one even with my new goodies. :ermm:
  10. +1 for Flotek. http://flotek.everything2stroke.com/porting.html The guy ported my juggs and lightened my flywheel in 2 weeks. I had them back in no time. He helped me a lot after i got my juggs and all back in order to get my set up right. Great service after the sale. I shipped my stuff to him across the country and i had no problems.
  11. My levers came silver/gray. It was like $9 a peice or something like that. I wish i had your ambition! :woot:
  12. The bottom is for a 2 stroke dirtbike. I have that exact same silencer on my yz250.
  13. google for the win http://www.procutportablesawmills.com/mixingchart.htm
  14. bolt on for bolt on with equaly skilled drivers, the 450's are quicker. Go beyond bolt ons and the banshees will start to shine. Basicly, line up and race. Video it, share with us. I enjoy watching drag races.
  15. I forgot to ask what does the person intend to do with the cr125? I ask because if it's MX, then there's certain rules and a port job or stroker might be illegal. If it's just for shits and kicks, a 250 2 stroke is the best bang for the buck. It will kill worked 125's in a strait line stock. As for 450f four stroke dirtbikes, i cant comment on those. I never road one or seen one running. I know my yz250 has traction issues though. I know most of it is due to a bad driver
  16. Since your happy with the power, my ONLY suggestion would be aftermarket suspension. Hell, get some cheap yfz450 shocks/a-arms for it. There's a guy on the forums who sells them. I put them on my bike and i love it. Get a g-force axel too to widen the rear. Only $200. More power and bling can wait for later. For protection, try motosport.com and rockymountain atv. They have cheap prices. When you are ready for more power, just get it ported, piped, etc all at the same time. As for jet kits, what a waste of money. Just BROWSE the forums and see which jets people run with your set up. But that's only if it doesnt run well as is. You can buy a lot of stuff used from people. Keep an eye out on the for sale forum. Something WILL catch your eye
  17. I would say get better tires w/ the right gearing. Power means nothing if you cant get it to the ground. I got 18's on my bike....i get NO traction.
  18. I put a ton of oring safe grease on my orings and in the grooves they go in. It took many tries because i didnt take off my tank but eventualy i got it. I kept looking under the head to make sure no orings went out of place. My bike isnt for bling but anything that helps to cool my bike is a real plus. I love my NOSS head! Interchangable doms are kick ass too!
  19. I mean i went run my bike. You dont need a banshee to idle to go rip around on it. I went ride for about 30 min today to see how my port job feels
  20. Talk to Denny over at Flotek. It's a one man show and he does good work. He has GREAT after the sale help. I called him on the phone a couple times and he helped me get my bike running. He done my engine work in less than 2 weeks, kept me updated etc. We discussed what i wanted out of my bike and he done that. Plus, it was cheap. http://flotek.everything2stroke.com/ I wouldnt go to anyone but him. See what he can do for a 125. On another side of things, i would sell the 125 and get a 250 2 stroke. I had a 2001 yz125 and i sold it and bought a yz250. It was a night and day difference. You can put a nice 144kit in a 125 but it will never be close to a STOCK 250 2 stroke. Have him ride a 250 2 stroke and a 144'ed 125 and see if he still wants a souped up 125 or a 250 haha.
  21. I would rather have a 2 shees. One as a playbike and one as a drag bike.
  22. Does the shfit pro kit require the cases be split? I just got my juggs port and tons of other crap and i would like a better shifting banshee. However, i do not want to wrench on it another 2 weekends. I think i seen the shift star itself near the kickstarter kick when i was putting all that stuff back on. I know the shift star mod doesnt require the cases be split but not sure about the rest of the kit.
  23. im doing this tomarrow or this weekend. Great thread! god damn tors! I removed mine yesterday and went run the sucker hehe.
  24. I run NOSS machine spacers. The guy who ported my juggs etc told me to use them because they shoot the mixture or something better. I cant comment on how they perform.
