We talked about it so i know what i want and need to make the port job, pipes etc work in sync. And thanx, i will visit rockymountain's site tomarrow and take a look around. I hear they are cheap and that is where i planned to order my t5's from.

I'm sending my jugs off to be ported and my flywheel off to be lightened monday. As i started to take the juggs etc out, i noticed i will need a few things: *new top end *oring gasket kit for my top end *oring kit for my NOSS head *ADJUSTABLE STATOR /TIMING PLATE *toomey t5's(im selling my t6's) *20cc domes for my NOSS head *"allen headed" screws for my clutch cover and flywheel cover or whatever it's called I'm look on the F.A.S.T.'s webside right now. I see the oring kit that will work with my head and other designs. Here's a few questions. I see the ACORN NUTS FOR COOL HEAD. Does that come with the little brass washers? Also, what kind of K&N pod filters will fit my stock carbs. There's different sizes for those filters and the outwares that go over them. I need to know where i can find some screws for my clutch cover and stator/flywheel cover that has an head that an allen wrench can fit. The phillips head screws strip too easy. BTW, if you think i am missing anything, please let me know. I took out my cylinders and my flywheel. the only other things that were taken off where what i needed to get to those things. thanx -Cody

I need to sell my toomey t6 pipes because i need to order some toomey t5 pipes soon. I just tore down my engine today. Im getting my jugs ported and flywheel lightened. Im also doing other stuff to help it but my t6 pipes will hold me back. Best offer gets them. I will only take a money order or personal check because i have no pay pal. Im not sure how much shipping will be. This add will also be up on e2s forums. What you get(please forgive me for my descriptions, but i want to make it clear): toomey t6 headers(big chrome things connected to the engine with two exaust springs on each). the silencers and stingers(things you repack with insulations + the long pipes connected to them. two in one rubber thing that goes to the toomey filter the toomey filter that comes with the kit You will NOT get the jets that came with the kit. Headers are in great shape. They have no dents dings or major sratches. I only took them off a total of 3 times to do work on the bike. When the bike is washed, i shammy the pipes to get rid of water spots. The back side of the pipes are a little dirty though but you cant see it when they are on the bike. If you would like to hear how they sound, i can link you do some videos i have on the net. These pipes are great for non ported banshees. Yeah i think the $3900 is high. $3200 is better so good luck. Try craigslist.com, i have had good luck with that site.

I'm interested because that's a lot cheaper than the $500 i was going to speed on some a-arms. I'd like to know how much more wide it makes the front. Reason i ask if because i plan to widen my rear and i want the front and rear's width/stance to match.

Sry it's not a banshee but i need it gone. ***Asking $1800 obo*** Location is Raceland Louisiana. Google it. Blue book for a stock bike like mine is over $1995. But...mines not stock. Beautiful condition. Well kepted up. Has less than ~15 hours on a brand new top end. Never ran hard or raced MX since i got it. Compression is still like a brand new top end, over 125psi easy. Tranny oil has been changed more often than needed. Chain is always oiled. Air filter is cleaned more than needed. Mods: xxx graphics kit pro curcuit pipe(mid-top end power) v force 3 reeds *You will also get a Clymer manual, extra levers and a couple other things that go with it. Im getting a yz250 when this bike is sold so no need for 2 dirtbikes. Let me know if anyone is interested. Serious inquiries can test ride. If interested, please pm or post here, do not email me. Those chassis makes me think "when is a banshee not a banshee" Anyways, i went run my shse in the asphalt 8th yesterday. It was fun as hell. There was a slow drag shee there. It got me thinking how nice a drag shee would be. It's fun for sure. Good luck with your build. Id love to have a purpose built drag shee. I couldnt get over how bad ass drag pipes sound. They were loud like some hyabusas there.

I always thought the person who is doing the portwork will know what pipe will work best with his port job. See what he says. I always read dmc's were low-mid and t5's were an all around pipe and respond very well to a port job.

I have a a complete toomey t6 pipe kit on my banshee. I want to sell them. If you are interested, let me know. the headers have slight staining but no dents or dings. I started up my dirtbike yesterday. It makes the popping noise. After reading 3+ pages, i dont see what could be wrong with my bike. I just think my "ping ping ping" noise was normal.

Yall are all jelious of guys like me who have a boost bottle on their shee. I've very pround to have a paper weight on my bike :shoothead:

my yz125 used to do it. But after a while it stopped. My banshee does this. Still does i believe. I just thought it was the "firing sound" coming from inside the pipes. I say coming from inside because the sound is muffled and it produces the sound each time it fires. I really never thought anything was wrong with it. Both my bikes from strong and realiable. Starts very easy. :biggrin: come to think of it, not sure if my banshee did it. Damnit, now im confused

both my bike have them, no problems. I dont ride very hard though. Look at it like this. Nothing is perfect and things will break. You will get some people that have and problems and some who havent.
