I know this is a banshee site but I have a 05 YFZ 450 bottom end for sale. Wrist pin seized and scuffed up the rod where the wrist pin goes. Other then that there is no play in the rod. Everything else works great. Make me an offer. Also have the cams, timing chain tensioner, Cam towers with c clips, Cam cover and gasket, Case saver. If anybody wants more pics let me know but I think I pretty much coverd it. Heres a pic of the scuff on the rod. I pointed to it with the red straw.

I changed the plug. There is already a 170 main and 48 pilot. Still doing the same thing. What should I do now

Ok guys I know this is a banshee forum but I know people have YFZ 450's too and I need some jetting help. I just picked up this 04 YFZ 450 a couple weeks ago. It backfires in mid 2nd and 3rd gear. Also backfires on down shifts. It also shoots blue flames out the exhaust sometimes when back fireing. little poofs of black smoke comes out the exhaust when I blip the throtle in neutral before its warm but after its warm no smoke. Im from michigan I believe elevation is around 500- 800ft round here. What jets should I be runing or start with? what needle position? How do I solve this problem? Mods are: Cam mod. Dont know if it was realy done guy told me it was but who knows. HMF slip on pipe K&N air filter lid removed from box NCVQ needle Quick shot 2 Fuel screw

Ohh yea man I hear ya I am a die hard banshee fan and not doubt a banshee would walk the 450's. Not all of them though but Im not saying my 450 is the fastest. I just enjoy riding Hell yea if a banshee wants to race I will race him but I dont realy care if win or not as long as there not a asshole about wining lol. I still want a banshee but I think this 450 will keep me busy for a few months.

Hahahaha picked up this banshee eater jk jk. YFZ 450 baby . Shit ton of mods. Cam mod, Jet kit, aftermarket a arms. HMF pipe and a bunch of other little things got it for a good price and everybody else was bullshitting me on returning my phone calls on the banshees so looks like im rockin the Fo fiddy now. Im not disapointed at all thing is a torque monster cant keep the front end down. I love it.

Hey thanks for the offer but I need a bike in running condition. Found a nice one with some after market parts. Going to pick it up in the next couple days. I have to drive 3 hours round trip but it will be worth it for the price im getting it for. I will post pics when I get it home.
