oh hell yeah. There goes another $100 for me... In the mean time, ill be doing something simular to climbanyhill. Ima get some mesh of some sort and make it work.

The first one is nice and the prices is good depending on location. Id take a look at the 2nd one. If the engine is good and the bike is all around tight, id get the one. Cheaper and newer like someone said. It's got t5's so you get ya juggs ported and flywheel lightened by flotek for a cheap $350 or so dollars and u got one fast 450 butting kicking machine.

i think mines stock. i run it cuz it works fine. Even with my port job im getting, it will do fine.

Once i get my juggs and flywheel back, ill be going again. An 8.3 is my goal but it's my playbike so no big deal. I need to learn to take off better though. Practice makes perfect I was gonna bring my yz250 out there but id run out of gear way too fast. edit* im just curious, what do piped 450's run and piped/cam 450's run in the 1/8th on asphalt? With good riders of course.

I dont find 2300 to be a bad deal. It could be bad jetting or a simple leak and those are cheap fixes. I'd check the compression and make sure everything else is tight on the bike before giving him the cash. As always, look around a lot before you settle on a bike. Took me 3 months to find my shee...it was well worth it. :biggrin:

Where did you find the allen head bolt set at? I really need some for my clutch cover and flywheel cover. Phillips head screws are a joke. I had to use a dremel to get a douple out cuz they stripped so bad. BTW im ordering t5 within a week. I just sold my t6 pipes. :biggrin:

There's some 450's around my area. The yfz bone stock was taking out piped 450rs. It's a good bike. If i was to get one, it would be the yfz450 for sure. That's just my opinion though. Im speaking from watching them drag racing. That's a lot to do with rider and the first 15'.

3500 is expensive for a mostly stock shee man. I know it's just a few years old. Just my two cents. Good luck with the selling it though!

You must have some strong legs to kick it over for 5 minutes. 1 kick on my yz250 wears me out Like he said, do a compression test. That is a must.

That's the silver correct? I was going to go with black but your bike looks very good with the silver. Well....your bike is very very well done and clean and would make any color plastics look good. :woot:

A port job wont mean you will be without your bike for the summer. I sent my juggs off friday and they will be here in less than 3 weeks. I dont think that's a bad tradeoff. I've never seen a ported shee so im anxious to see how mine will run. :biggrin:

meh, to me a banshee is a 2 cylinder 2 stroke. Fast bike though.

I've felt that for myself first handed. Before i got my shee, i read so much about piped shees beating the shit out of piped/filtered 450's. What i didnt understand what either they were lieing or bad drivers. I got my chance, i raced almost all the 450's around. I got beat 9 times out of 10. That 1 out of the 10 i won was if they missed some gears...bad. That's what make me go away from the 4mm cub idea i had. Tomarrow i am sending off my juggs to flotek to get ported and my flywheel lightened. That along with a few other goodies will be the end of my performance mods untill i can get another shee for a drag only bike. KingzofNY, my shee is only a playbike at best, always will be. In my opinion, there's a limit to any atv where it starts to become more of a drag bike then a playbike. After i get all this work done to my shee within the next month and it still gets beat....oh well. I will still have paid half the price as someone with a $9000 450. I dont know how predators compare to the 450s, but i get beat on dirt/grass by them all day long. They are just faster than a shee with only a pipe and filter. My banshee just spins. I accepted that....almost :ohmy:. I noticed on dirt/grass the 4 stroke bikes hook up a hell of a lot better than my shee does. That's something i can only do so much to improve on. The locals and i usualy just take it on asphalt and drag race. It's a different story cuz i can launch hard. I still lose sometimes but some people are just better riders than me. I dont totally agree. It took me a while to learn how to shift my shee to make it as fast as possible. Heck, im still learning. When i let someone who only rides 4 strokes try my bike, they let it rev to hell before they shift then they dont know it has 6 gears. Id say put another banshee rider who you know can pilot one. As for the bogging, gotta make sure your jetting is right before you do anything else. Period. After that, just enjoy the bike and stop worrying about who you can beat. There will always be someone faster than you. When im tired of getting beat, i go race a 400ex and then i feel better :woot:

wait wait wait.....advancing it 4 degrees will make you lose some top end?
