it has nothing to do with factory clearances. it has t do with the builder preferances of clearances. and having the parts machined to match perfectly to his likeing.

sorry brotha but you are very far from the truth on this. the term blue print does NOT refer to blue prints like how a house is designed. And it is NOT bringing the motor back to factory specs. It IS an actual way of building a motor to get more power out of it. There is more to building motors then jus buying a 64mm piston and tossing it into your 64mm cylinder.

http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=193 it is an adjuster that has a bearing on it so the ball and rod will not weld together. Very easy to install, you just pull the pressure plate and pop the old one out, and pop the new one in. and re adjust the clutch

i take all the tension off the perch. the adjuster thats in the center of the clutch pressure plate has a locknut and a screw in the center. i turn the screw out far enough that i know its not touching the ball behind it. then i start to turn it in and once i feel it hit the ball i back it off 1/4 turn and tighten the pressure plate back down. i dont even bother with the arrows cause mine do not line up at all.

I use Fastnal for most of my fittings. They carry pretty much anything you could possibly want or need. and if they dont have it they will order it.

although this doesnt help you figure out how much taxes you would get hit for but you mind sharing what dealership this was at???? 3k for a BRAND NEW bike is unheard of .. Especially in Cali

it doesnt matter for how i set mine. i just turn the screw in until i feel it hit. its not the "proper" way to do it but its the only way i have been able to get my clutch to function right without the bike lunging forward when i put it in gear

for the go-karts or for any motor in general? i know that my dad had his little log book and calculations all mapped out for differant builds when we raced. but he would never share them. and there was also another very large engin builder by the name of Ronnies Speed Shop. he as well has all his calcs howevere you would never get him to sure them with you either. thats how he makes his money. thats like thining that A&S or Packard or any of these guys would spil the beans on how they are building thier motors. you can bet your bottom dollar they do NOT build customers motors the same way they build their own

This is the chain i got from Jeff at FAST. I need to sell it becasue its just sitting in my garage. I decided to run a Sidewinder that i got for a steal. I need to sell this chain to pay for more goodies 75 shipped
