So I got a voicemail from Jeff this morning that I need to give him a call. On my way to work I buzz hi. He tells me that WCR lost my override and he isn't going to replace it because he is getting out of the business and cutting his loses. So he then tells me I'm not sure what we are going to do now man. After a few mins of me not breathing and basically making up my mind that fuck this quad I'm selling it and being done with this, Jeff tells me man thats a pretty shity April fools joke isn't it?
Man he got me good!!! He was speechless! But it's on the way home so I should be up and running soon!
Thanks a ton Jeffro!!!
I'v used it. I used to be sponsered by Redline when I raced gokarts. ALL of thier products are top notch. Iv used both gas and alky premix and thier 4 stroke motor oil, plus the watter wetter, and a few other additives. all of them where awsome. and the 4stroe oil smelled like bubble gum ummmm
you have air in the lines. get a mityvac and pump them out. I spent 2 days trying to prime my brakes and nothing worked. got a mityvac and took care of it in like 5 mins
any metal can be polihed. you just need to get a good buffing wheel ad some compound and have alot of patients
edit: oh and the better prep work you do the better the outcome of your final pproduct will be
i had one but got rid of it. Quads dont have enough travel in them so when you hit alot of bumps its ez to get away from you. I used to love it but now that i'm getting old and lazy id rather have a thumb
no you have 20 over. you want to get a 20 over piston and have the tolerance set to that piston. you dont want to just assemebl a motor without setting the tolerances. So if you took the jugs and had them bored or honed before having your piston you did it wrong. you want them to bore or hone it with the piston in hand so they can messure it and set the tolerances then
you can run a spacer plate when you install the 4mil how ever this is the least preferred method. Depending on what kind of porting and pipes your going to be running and where your trying to get your power will decide what size carbs to run and weather or not you want to run a 2 into 1 carb setup.
If your going to build a lowend bike for MX then the 2 into 1 isnt a bad choice. just make sure your porting and pipes complement it. if you have any one of the three not working together your not getting the max power from your motor
mine are both greens. man this state is fuking rediculose! they want more money for reg fees. more money for entry fees to the parks. and what do we get out of it?
Anyone know if the reg fees went up? we just got a letter in the mail that my wifes quad needs to be re-registered and it was only one year old and the fee is 50 bucks and not the normal 20. anyone else get this too?
well you kind of contradicted yor self by saying you didnt need them you just used a friends. so you did need them actually you just happened to have a friend that alrady had them. It doesnt matter how big of a motor or how often your building there are certain tools every shadetree mechanic should have.
this is total shot in the dark guess but i would assume its a lonestar with the first 2 letters being LS in the part number
as far as how big it is messure the inside dia of it where the axle goes thoruhg
