  5. if it shifts fine and doesnt make a loud clunk sound when you pass it through the gears the tranny its self is fine, not saying that the forks didnt get bent though. thats still a possibility. but even with a bent fork you should be able to pull the lever. thats why i think its the rod/ball/adjuster. if you had too much pressure on it then it could have galled itself and welded over time

  10. well if you have no porting they are a little overkill, but you can get them to run your just going to lose some bottom end. id say put your other carbs back on until you get the motor ported and save your self the headache

  15. it sounds like its not adjusted correctly. regaurdless of following the manule. i know mine isnt exactly to the book to get it adjused right. as far as the cub or 4mil being affordabole, it depends on what you consired affordable? you can build them for around the same price but keep in mind the more power you have the more other parts your going to need to upgrade as well. and just becasue you can build a cub for a little more if thats not the riding your going to be doing you just wasted alot of money. a cub is a drag motor plain and simple. all top no bottom

  19. so no porting or pipes? if so those carbs are too big. also the jetting is off. at sea level for a piped ported motor with 35's jetting would start around 155main 45 pilot CEL 3rd clip 2.5turns those will get it VERY close to most motors so you should only have to go one size smaller on the main and pilot (round about)

  25. assuming your basket isnt notched too much it sounds like your not properly adjusted. i dont recll if there are the littl dots on stock inner hubs and pressure plates that have to be aligned or not, i know i over looked it on my hinson clutchg and it would not work right.
