  1. what kind of riding are you going to be doing?
  2. do you happen to know where the pipe is designed to make its most power at? this would help you figure out what carb would be best suited for you. its more then likely a 35
  3. so you used a normal penatrating oil then lol there is no differance in "military grade" we buy our stuff from the same guys you do only we pay 3 times the amount and have it in a plain bottle with some differant codes writin on it lol
  4. then you had them in correctly.
  5. well dont feel bad about it , i was proud of you for it lol
  6. lol nice pickup on that!
  7. Meat this is my favorite line you have ever said!!!! and guess what you wont get ban for it either!
  8. its like 54 lbs i want to say. i never torque anything but the head and cylinders. everything else i just snug it up and check it my first few rides to make sure it hasnt came loose.
  9. lol you just brought this to a whole new level of low lol
  10. go buy some PB blaster and one of those broken bolt remover kits. spary the PB and let it soak for a few hours. then you should be able to remove the busted studs
  11. yea, I'm very impressed
  12. if you have the tors thing on top of the carbs you control your idle with them... so does the rev climb or does it go wide open? which is it? if its wide open you probly dont have an airleak. normally an airleak will start normal and slowly climb. but before you rule it out start checking the rubber boots for your carbs, and make sure your gaskets are not folded when they got tightened down. was it running fine before this? did you change anything ?
  13. I think I remember reading that the hotrods cranks are made in Taiwan, the rods are made in the states and then the whole thing is assembled in the states.
  14. i used to have an email from Eibach that had every spec for it but i got rid of it ALONG time ago. i'm sure you could email them the number that posted and they can sned you all the info on it. It will fit any shock that requires an 8in spring (most atv shocks) i ran it on my +4 swinger on a works shock at 210 lbs. its was fine for me. Just keep in mind a shock isnt supposed to keep your bike from squating all the way. if your bike squats too much its more then likely your shock needs to be revalved.
  15. and this is the "idiots" that PS is trying to weed out. They talk so highly that you guys dont bash... are you kidding me dude? welfare? give it a rest already jesus.
  16. I agree with the last part but it was down last night and i know for a fact several of us didnt go running to PS.
  17. to sync them buy a tool, jeff at FAST sells them. they are a must have for multi carb motors. to make sure they drop all the way just make sure the cable has slack at the bottom and turn the idle screws out, even if you have the idle set high it shouldnt climb so that probly not your problem. its more then likely an air leak. get some carb cleaner and spary all the gasket and surface areas while the bike is running. if it revs all of the sudden or bogs out all of the sudden thats where your leak was at. make sure you clean it off becasue metal doesnt like carb cleaner sitting on it
  18. boobs? man did i miss that?
  19. ^^^ beat me too it... like he said if the carbs are actually closing you have an airleak
  20. did you just break the studs or did the studs rip the cases threads out? if the studs just broke off inside you can remove them, it wont be ez but it can be done and you wouldnt have to worry with the helicoil
  21. there is no differance from one box to another, they just have differant plug patterns. you can just swap the wires to a differant plug if your comfortable doing it. As far as buying the program, if your not going to be racing id say save your money, the pre-programed curve are already going to be better then your stock box. If you worried about too much advance do a comp test and post what you got, based off that you could figure out if curve 3 (most advanced curve) would advance too much or not
  22. yup alba is garbage, too bad you didnt ask around about thm before you ordered. they are like 20 mins from me and i refuse to buy anything from them
  23. it deffinatly made for a cluch, not sure if its home made or if its from another bike, but i know its not the right one for a banshee
  24. ok so your getting spark now... so now you need to set your idle. get it started and use the idle screws to set your idle.what jets did you say you have in them?
  25. not sure what the hell that is but thats not the part you need in there... either get one from jeff at FAST or get the one from cascade.
