  1. You can probably get an o-ring from a gasket shop or auto parts store, Just be sure to get the right size.
  2. Has anyone got the 12 port stroker from passion? If so how well does it run. If not, does anyone have their full drag port 4mm setup and how well does it run? If you do can you give me some hp numbers along with other engine mods
  3. You can bump up the timing with an adjustable timing plate from ricky stator for 35 bucks. Its easy to do, just need a flywheel puller and an impact.
  4. If you aren't jetted right it won't want to pull 6th. My 05 pulls 6th with 9 paddle haulers and 14-39 gearing in the sand with no problem. Our mods are about the same. You might be trying to shift too soon.
  5. It would help if we knew what mods you have added so far.
  6. If you have stock carbs get some bigger ones, you should feel an increase in power. A NOSS head will help keep it cool and maybe look into some after market reeds.
  7. Try some reeds, timing plate. Like Loco said a new swingarm will be alot of help if you are getting a drag port. Maybe even buy a NOSS head instead of shaving the one you have. True and weld the crank or maybe get a stroker crank, will have to send the crank in while it is getting ported to match the stroke to the new port work I think.
  8. I put my banshee in my girls 1992 Ford Ranger all the time. Just ride up the ramps and over the wheel wells with no problem.
  9. Well I raced an 05 as well. I beat the 05 by about two bikes, and he weighs less than the guy on the 06. The 06 is a lot faster than the 05.
  10. Raced one this past weekend. He had the air filter lid off and that was it. In a 300ft race I was right at his tail light, in a long race it closer. I outway him by 50 lbs but still those things are fast.
  11. The pipes will give you a lot more power than taking the lid off. If you ride in water keep your lid on, just cut the snorkel off and maybe drill some holes in the top. If you dont ride in water get some clamp on K&N filters, easy to clean and makes rejetting a lot easier.
  12. I am pretty sure you can get a turbo for a banshee, don't know if they make them specifically for the banshee though. The Noss head comes in two pieces so that you can change your domes. The smaller the dome the more compression you will have. The Noss head will keep the engine cooler unlike the milled stock head.
  13. To lean out your mid range you need to move your needle clip up towards the blunt end. That will allow the needle to fall further down. With the needle further down, less gas will flow. You might want to try going to a smaller main, maybe a 260 or 250 before moving the needle.
  14. My guess would be the slides or reeds. It doesn't take but a few minutes to check.
  15. I thought so but wasn't too sure. Thanks fore the info
  16. Is 91 octane good enough to run with around 21cc domes (stock head shaved)? Mods and elevation in sig
  17. I run the highest octane they sell at the pump which is around 91 octane. Is this good enough fuel at my elevation or will it cause me problems.
  18. I had 30 thousandths shaved off my stock head. Has anyone checked the cc of their domes after they have had this done? Just want to get a guestament of what it might be.
  19. Changing the head is as easy as taking the stock head off. No special tricks just be carefull when putting the new head on, don't move the o-rings out of place or coolant will leak. I don't know about the engine ice, it should have some instructions on the bottle about what you should do. Do a search about engine ice, I have seen a couple questions brought up about using it before.
  20. I just got me a nice 8 point mule last week with my bow. White tail is in season now so time to try out my new 243. Hopefully I will get around 4 deer this season. Lots of summer sausage, chiken fry, breakfast sausage, back strap, and jerky hopefully.
  21. Streamline is what i got. The little T doesn't fit at all in the stock position. The tech guy I talked to said that it only happens on banshees and they get many calls about this problem. You think they would fix it but who knows
  22. If he knows how to ride you will get beat.
  23. Called then and they siad they would look into the problem. I just mounted it to the left. It was kinda a pain but it works good now.
  24. Ordered some aftermarket brake lines for my banshee from Magic Racing. The two lines that run to the front callipers are fine. The T they sent me is what I am having problems with. The hole in the T is too small for the stock bolt, and it doesnt really fit on the mounting plate behind the radiator. I looked around for another place to mount it but didn't see a good spot. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a good place to mount the T?
  25. You will notice a power gain. Don't know how much though. I don't think you have to rejet for those mods.
