  1. Im windin it out in fifth and grabbin sixth and it just doesnt go..it just wont grab my powerband. Im at sea level runnin 310's for mains and 27.5 for pilots..what are you other sea level guys runnin?
  2. Just looking to keep the front wheels on the ground so i dont have to sit on the handlebars going up hills. Just lemme know if you have anything.
  3. Hey guys, so I've been fighting this issue since the shee was new. I ride strictly dunes on the Oregon Coast. Currently I am setup with FMF SST pipes, dual k&n's, +4 timing, with 12/44 gearing and 22'' tall 8 paddle taller hallers. I love the low end the bike has and its great for drags, etc. but no matter what I do I cant grab sixth. Any advice would help..im kinda at a loss now that ive lowered my gearing all the way down to a 12. Thanks guys
  4. If you haven' found a rider yet for your shocks, PM me. I live in Eugene, Or about an hour from the dunes. My buddies and I go almost every weekend. And if you were interested in doing shocks for other bikes, we also have a yfz450 and a 400ex
  5. Yes..it looks bent, but he also states in his auction that it is..so cant really get on him about that lol
  6. IMHO, yes. It seems to be the common thought among HQ'ers that advancing your timing 4 degrees for anything above 150psi is going to mean Race fuel..or atleast a mix of it, just my two cents and by the way..if you do decide to advance it...it will knock your socks off jus remember at that compression..you need more octane = money going Lol good luck man..hope more hq members post, i may be wrong(but i doubt it)
  7. I just put one of those in my shee and soon after, I needed the disconbobulator...
  8. Congratulations man! I ordered mine off ebay..but the dude is tellin me she got stuck somewhere during shipping... Hahah..no no, really though, congrats it should be a fun time..and teach that little girl to ride!
  9. As always..the HQ came through, thanks guys...it was an incredibly easy fix. Cant wait to go ridin next weekend! Maybe ill really get to feel how that timing advance works
  10. Thanks guys for your help, I will be going up to work on it wednesday, so hopefully it will be that..for the love of god..please dont let it be the tranny lol. Anyways, I'll get back to you on whether or not that was what it was. Thanks, jon
  11. Hey guys, Im new to the forums, but have been a long time reader. First off, I'd like to say you guys are great. Now onto my problem. Last weekend I went out to the dunes after advancing my timing 4 degrees(my bike made me feel like this: ) It was amazing, however, somehow I got into some trouble. I went drag racing up the hill, all felt/sounded great...then came downshifting at the top. It would not happen. I rocked back and forth, went through all the normal steps of trying to shift, etc. still nothing. It was either down for 3rd(solid, would not go down anymore or ratchet back) or up for 4th(solid, would not go up anymore or ratchet back.) I continued riding thinking that if the tranny was shot, I might as well get a days of riding in. I was just hoping someone on here could give me a little advice as to what it may be, and possibly cost..being a college student, that means the diff between me riding this winter or not. Thanks for any advice, I know you all are very knowledgable. And if I could possibly strike up interest in Boonman to message me, I would like to get costs on shift star and flywheel mods. Thanks, Jon
