I have an 03 banshee, fmf pipes, k&n with no lid, cool head, 19cc domes, and +4 timming. and was wondering what are the advantages and disadvantages of running no air box. I ride mostly sand, but once in awile i do ride in the dirt and through semi wet conditions.

My left side fits tight, but when you put the springs on the right side, they are lose and dont fit tight, so when you rev it up, the pipe blows about 1/2 inch off of the cylinder and makes a horible rattling noise. any sugesitions, or is this a manufacture defect?

first, i think you mix your oil too rich, that might be why it starts and then dies, but does it start with the choke on? and if its backfiring out of the pipe you need to look at timing, plugs, coil cause it is probably misfiring

your gas could be dirty, check the screen on the tank to make sure that is clean, clean your carbs, and also it seems like your mixing too much oil in your gas, 1 court for 4 gallons is too high in ratio.

i have changedt he springs and seals on my fmf fatty's a couple of times, i just buy there little kit for 10 bucks, but the right side keeps getting lose, after a couple of rides, the springs have no more tension. does anyone know what to do besides changing the springs every couple of weeks?

sounds like your ratio is too much oil, most people run between 32:1 up to 40:1 and higher. Your bike should smoke alot after you rebuild, from all the extra oil you put on the rings and bearings, but that doest last long, it should burn up fast.

should be 200-250 tops for gaskets, pistons, wrist pins and bearings. as long as you got the hone lined up, it shouldnt take more than a day.
