I don't have the time slips handy but I think the ported banshee was running 90+ mph a the end of the quater. We all had stock swingers so takeoff was a big problem. 1/8 mile times were in the low 8's high 7's. They are closing the places we ride at so dragging looks like the next best thing. A little more expensive but swattingthos crotch rockets will be a lot of fun

Got my paddles in and we raced 300 ft in the sand. He used 9 paddle extremes and i used 9 paddle haulers. I know they are both too much paddle for the bikes but they both will be ported soon with many other mods. I beat him every time by about 1 1/2 quads. He was pissed. He thought that a LE banshee should beat my regular banshee. Looks like the war has begun between us.

Me and my friends took our to a track last weekend. I have a banshee with pipes and a 15 front sprocket. I ran 15.4. One buddy ran a 13.8 but he has port job and a 16 tooth sprocket.

He has stock stroke, pod filters and he has cracked the intakes because of that damn boost bottle. I'm pretty sure he just siliconed the leak up though. He runs 350 mains in the stock carbs. We are about 3000 ft above the sea.

My buddy keeps blowing his topend. He has a pretty decent port job ( quad is very fast). He is running stock carbs. I think when he is in 5th and 6th gear the bowls are being sucked dry making it real lean. Could this be right or will stock carbs work?

My buddies did the same thing. Did you check the slides in the carbs. If they are hung open it will backfire then die when you pull in the clutch to stop or slow down.

I live about 30 min. from Amarillo. I ate the 72 ounce steak but couldn't finish the side orders ( baked potatoe, green beans, salad, and rolls). What was hard is they set you up on a platform like a stage in front of everyone while you eat. People are video taping you and taking pics the whole time. Was fun though

That would be a bigger problem than we have now. If we left the countires, they would deffinatly gain more power. They would be able to organize better, regroup, and get the nuc wepons. The US is concerned because of the oil industry. Im not saying that I like to see men my age and younger die, but a lot more would die without us being there. Like Bruce Lee said " Drop a stone into a pond and it creats ripples, eventualy it reaches all sides of the pond". It would eventually come bite us in the ass.

Racing for " pink's " means that you race title for title. Whoever wins rides off with both quads. Not very fun if you lose. Most losers just keep riding and don't hold up their end of the bargain.

Well I went and bought a tester. I checked mine and it was 115-120 on both cylinders. Way better than 90 psi with the other tester. Will check my friends later tonight. They both said that your replies were wrong about 80 psi being too low. You have been right on everything else so far so I knew something was up. Is 120psi better or should a head that is shaved .030 have more?

I have chartered a boat out of San Diego. We caught albacore, mako shark (only one), yellow fin tuna, kelp bass, sand bass, lin cod, crazy looking rockfish. It was a blast and we caught our limit on most of the fish which is 10 fish per person. There were six of us so it was a ton of fish. Living in TX i could only take back so much though. Have fun man , you will want to go every year after a good trip

I let it idle for about 5 min. Didn't have time to go out cus I was on my lunch break and I was a hungry mfer. I will buy a tester today and check mine again.

Tested all three shees today. As i said we are at about 3000 ft elevation. Its around 90 degrees. Tested all shees with WOT(didnt make a diff in psi reading ). I let mine run about 5 min before testing. Tester is good and it threads in the same as the plug. 2003 LE No head mods 80psi on both cyl 2004 LE Cool head w\18cc domes 100 psi on both 2005 shee shaved head .030 90 psi on both (mine) They all run well but I dont know what a bad one runs like either. Does this seem low, or is it right. I have no clue. If it is low I want to rebuild before it completely goes. When i say run good I mean my shee is about 3-4 quads behind a piped, camd, yfz 450 until top end then i start to catch him. Y do you need throttle wide open?

I dont deal with ebay much. So there is really no banshee

I don't think that cops are trying to look for people riding their quads in the street instead of chasing criminals or drug dealers. Drug dealers don't walk out into the street screaming as loud as they can " I sell drugs and it's illegal". So a drug dealer is harder to find. Quads are not that quiet and kinda stick out. I'm not saying that they should impound everyone they see on a quad but some are asking for it. Sorry to hear about the freak accident

I hear alot of good things about the Toomey T5 pipes. The T6 are good for stock but if you port the engine the T5 are better. I have T6 pipes and I like them but I haven't tried anything else. You will love you shee piped, Its a totaly new machine

How do youknow it will be so exact?

I don't know about better rider but he is lighter. I weigh about 210 and he weighs around 185.

I've got a 15 tooth coming along with a rickey stator plate. In a 300 ft race in the sand with no paddles we are about even. I use stock tires and he uses holeshots. We do a lot of 300 ft racing where I am at. I just haven't ordered paddles yet cus My drag car broke down Have to get it going first.

In texas you go to the same place you go to to get your registration sticker for your car or truck. We have to have the vin number and it cost like 20 bucks. The you get a little sticker to put on the quad. I think all dealerships register the quad after it is sold. You just have to buy the sticker. DOn't know about OK.

My firend had a similar problem with his shee. It kept poping out the right side and when you pulled in the clutch it would die. We could kick start it though but took forever. Turned out that the slide in the right carb was stuck open. We cleaned both carbs and now it runs fine. If the slide is stuck open, as soon as you touch the throttle it will rev very high.
