Hey all! I have a 97 Shee that would always run a little crappy, wouldn't idle, and smoke on the right side some. Had cylinders bored and put pistons in. Starts on 1 kick, idles great, but right side smokes and doesn't seem to hit well. I put my hand on the exhaust and the left side pushes a lot out, is hot, and clears up quick. Right side smokes, misses, and at certain rpm pretty much stops putting out. You can hear the left side firing through the exhaust but lean to the right and it very sporadic if at all. I pulled right side wire while running and it died. I shifted the coil wires over and it started and run the same(I didn't think it would start or run unless I actually swapped the wires). I have read all the threads about right side crank seal but why would it not be hot, missfire, or simply not put out at certain rpm? Also, the compression is the same on both sides. It has Kool Head, FMF pipes and silencers, new stator, the carbs have been rebuilt, the jets are at 330 (K/N filter bolted w/lid off), plugs are new, mix is 40:1. Any thoughts or better theory for an ex-Honda/Acura mechanic? Love the Shee but only running on cylinder and half it seems. Enough details?
