I have a 14 front tooth and I put on a 39 rear tooth. The stock chain doesn't work with this setup, can't get it tight enough. All I have found for smaller chains is 96 links and I think the stock is 104 links. I don't think I need that small of a chain. Is there a place that sells like 1 or two links smaller or do I just need to cut a link out to get it to work?

I shaved my head .030 at a local machine shop. I bought a timing plate and advanced it +4. I run 90 octane with Klots synthetic at 32-1. I really can't tell a difference in power though. Is the +4 too much or does the +4 not add enough power to really notice?

With a 14 tooth front sprocket, I can launch in second, wrap all the way through the powerband in every gear, but my top end isnt that good. So I switched to a 15 tooth front sprocket and I launch in first, wrap through the powerband through fourth, but in 5th and 6th it just gets about midway through the powerband and doesnt want to pull anymore. Sometimes I cant even shift into 6th without it bogging down. I just ordered a 39 tooth rear sprocket to help the top end a little and I am going to put the 14 tooth front back on. I am thinking of trying a buddies set of 8 paddle haulers and see how it feels.

Or should I just buy some 7 paddle haulers and save the nine paddle for when I buy some mor HP?

Where can I get a rear sprocket smaller than 40?

I am running 9 paddle haulers. I know they have to much paddle for my mods, but that is all Rocky Mountain had at the time. With a 14 tooth I pull them fine all the way through 6th. I just want to have a little more top end pull but the 15 tooth made me bog and wouldnt let me wrap all the way through the power band in 5th or 6th.

I tried the 15 tooth but I didnt like it. On pavement I had way more top end but in sand it doesnt like to pull my paddle tires in 5-6. I am thinking about going back to a 14 tooth and maybe a 38-39 in the back. Anyone else run this setup and how does it work?

Do waste your money paying a shop to do the job. Took me about 30 min to do mine. Wouldnt have took that long but whoever made the new timing plate didnt tap one of the small bolt holes all the way through. Had to go buy a tap so I could get the bolt in. You will need to get a flywheel puller, $15 and can get them at a dealership. Use an impact to get the nut off that holds on the flywheel. Its real easy.

I got mine off ebay for 42 bucks shipped. Everyone says to go +4. I am going to play with it a little and see what works best. You can get one from Ricky Stator for the same price. In fact, I think the one I bought is a Ricky Stator Timing Plate, dont know if he sells them on ebay or not though.

So 50-1 is 50 parts fuel to 1 part oil right. So if I am currently running 32 parts fuel to 1 part oil and go to 40-1 I will be adding more fuel to the mixture. Won't that make it run richer?

I meant that I will be adding less oil to the gas mixture. Not more oil to the gas mixture. Sorry if I confused you.

Well I am running 310s. I think it will be enough, I might just richen up my oil/fuel ratio. I am currently running a 32-1 mix. Should have my timing plate tomorrow. If it's not freezing I will have to go test it out

If I advance my timing do I need to bump up my jetting?

My air screws are about 2 1/4 turns out.

I am running 310 as mains. I am at 3000-3200 ele and about 80 degrees. I tried 280-290 and my plugs were white. So I had to bump them up.

Finally got my bike running good and not lean. Only problem is when I sit and try to idle, warm or cold, it dies in about 5-10 sec. I still have the stock pilot jet. Do I need to bump it up to a 27.5. Also, abouth how far open should my slides be. I think I have them at about an 1/8 of an inch open maybe a little more.

It isn't a bad track. They raced again on 9-30-05. This time they had about 15 quads enter. The owners are not new to racing but they are new to running a track. I don't know if they have split the quads up into different divisions yet. The next race is 10-8-05. It is just $5 to enter and I think $10 for a pit pass. Track is in good shape, but the stands, bathrooms, and other things need work. I still don't know if I am going to try it but if you are interested give me a call at 806-206-8813. Ill try to fill you in on as much as I can.

If you get a lot of HP into your banshee and have a stock swing arm, you have to feather the clutch sometimes or it will come over backwards on you. I jus have pipes and a filter, when I drag race I have to feather the clutch sometimes because the front end wants to come up. If you feather the clutch the front end comes back down. Takes a little practice to get it right, but when you do, you can really come out of the gate real fast.

Well, when I take out the main jet I remove the plastic piece then unscrew the jet. I try to screw in the new jet but the piece it threds into moves up towards the top of the carb. So I have to take the carb out and hold that piece down to start the new jet. On the other side it doesnt maove at all. Is there a way to tighten it down so that it doesnt move? Also, on the carb with the choke, ther is a little brass tube coming out of the bottom. To get the bowl back on it has to slide over that tube. What is that for and why doesnt the other side have one? These are stock carbs by the way

When I try to put in a new main jet, the part it screws into moves up. So i have to take the carb off and hold that thing down just to screw in the main jet. The other side I have no problem.

Man, I would have lost it if they would have started craking white jokes at me. One day I was in class, doing my work, and a black kid grabs a pen from my hand and starts using it. I grab it back and say " Get you own pen". He then says " Man you stuipid crakers can afford anything, so gimi your pen and go buy another one". I lost it and say "You stupid nigers can steal anything and get away with it so go steal a pen some where else". I got thrown out of school for 3 days for being racist. Doesnt matter if he called me a craker, he isnt going to be racist. Because I have a shaved head and am white, I will always be racist to the black community. I am sick of people getting free college and grants because they are black and considered a minority. Right now in texas the caucasion people are the smallest in number, so why cant I get free college and grants. O, I forget, I am white I can afford anything

Went to a 1/7 mile circle track last night to watch my boss's son race his mini sprint. The had about 8 quads race also. There was only one banshee and he won his heat, trophy dash, and the main easy. The rest were all 4-strokes. I think the closest person to him was a 450YFZ and he was still about half a lap down. Looked like fun and I might give it a try

Diablo 2 LOD was fun at first. Then ebay made it not worth playing to me. Besides when you have a blizzard sorce and uber gear, finding a good duel is hard. You level and level, reach 99, then start a new char. Got boring. WOW is way better, duels are funner, and the graphics are really good.
