  1. Just wondering if they are still around and taking work on?
  2. Thanks man.
  3. Most every one is 48-50. So +4 out back is about 48 with the right rear wheel offset.
  4. Whoa! Big weight savings. Wish I could get a wider aluminum axle for flat track from them.
  5. Well that does a fine job of showing what the cascade piece is all about.
  6. I love the PWM's! Jerry, if there were Billit bowls that still allowed fast jet changes for them I'd be inclined to buy a set...
  7. ^ thisAlso add the modded shift shaft from fast.
  8. Looks cool, the track is in a green house kit. Good idea really. I like that they have a storage facility so you can have your own little pit. You can even rent it for the year.
  9. If those XFR's work with a -2 swinger I'm snatching a set. Tried waiting for alba but as peedicted........
  10. On stock cyl bikes you should see about 8-10 psi per 1cc of dome size. If those cylinders are ported and still cranking that high it definitely still needs higher octane.
  11. I've been wanting to do a baker behind an old Mach Z motor that's collecting dust and shelf space. Just waiting to finish the next banshee to start a cafè bike.
  12. That means he has the tapered carrier? Those are bad ass if they get installed right. Other wise the twin row from all balls or any other reputable source is fine. I would definitely not want a giant ceramic bearing for a carrier though.
  13. My current 4 mil stock bore destroys a 440cc engine he did for me. Similar rpm range port work as well and this 385 smokes it
  14. Yeah they are, they can help you with any of your over the counter parts and oil, however mikes port work does not compare. I had him do the cylinders on my big bore motor. I thought it was the most bad ass thing around. Then I started running in to guys who had work from Kurtz, HJR, Fast, Passion, R*Z, A&S, and WildCard. Yeah....... No comparison. Mike hasn't done R&D on banshee stuff since he was making those viper sleeves. Cool idea, but the idea was 10 years to late and that was ten years ago. Mono jugs moved in and mike made money fixing banshees and other Atv/PWC, not building and R&Ding banshees like the site sponsors here. I like Mike and Kim a lot, and the big mike guy at the counter is awesome. But there is about another 4/5 sets of newer hands around and they are fucking jabronies. I dumped my bike off for dyno tuning. They handed it back to me with one wet plug and one white plug. The intake was hanging off and no body knew why one cylinder only needed a 48 while the other wanted a 55. Really?! Haven't been there unless I'm in a pinch and need something that day.
  15. Ironically there is a fresh post from a new guy on here that just bought a bike with one of these. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  16. Ugly situation. If it were me, I'd buy new cyls and have them ported, sleeve both of your current cyls and port match them, or finally step up to an aftermarket mono jug set up.
  17. WTF? Skeeter, you must be feeling the valentines day spirit if you're giving out viable information like that. OP, there are tons of different cylinder kits out now. Some good, some junk. They can pretty much be tailored to your liking if you are willing to have a builder them set up right.
  18. Haha, first it's the spelling bee. Then world domination!
  19. I have been running the oxygenated VP 113 in my 4 mil for a while now. But a buddy bought a jug to try last season and it's just to much octane for his build. So he offered it to me but I'm not sure if it'll still be good as it sat since last march. When I cracked the top it blew pressure off like a 2 liter of Coke. Should it still be good if it's in the sealed VP pail?
  20. Service manual is for metallic OEM style gaskets, not O-rings
  21. Bull shit, those fucking nerds are on ESPN!
  22. There are tons of other cut rate energy drinks out there that would love to come put their banners all over and do some vending. Have you tried Booty Sweat? Man, on a serious note. It sucks trying to get spectators/competitors to come out to for almost any form of racing as the cost to play is climbing all the time. It pisses me off knowing that golf and bowling, or even curling are major sponsored events with media and Motorsports are slowing down
  23. Less weight and/or it's time to start cutting springs. I had a set of 2.68 straight cuts in my oval bike for 1/2 mile track last year. I am not slipping the clutch the way you would in a drag race but I'm using load of the bike to slip to the RPM where my bike comes on to the power out of the turn. But when I messed with the 2.68's last year I actually had to take quite a bit of weight out and I even dabbled with cut springs with a decent day on the lake.
