  1. 280s sounds a bit lean to me. personally I would run like 300s but i prefer a little rich on the mains especially when your on the sand full throttle for long periods.
  2. when are you going? I am from Abbotsford I will be there from the 29th of april for 4 days. for those mods probably a 310 main or a 320 main will do. I have a banshee with fmf pipes vforce reeds and a k&N its running 310 mains. I run the same jetting as here but you sound like your up north.
  3. got an alloy bolts kit for my 250r in 2009 when I put it together. no issues with them yet. To be honest I never put anti seize on the bolts
  4. The better thing to do is to use higher octane fuel or have your domes cut to your fuel specs. Or what I did when I was young and poor was put locktight on the plugs.
  5. are your filters clean? try it without a filter on to test it. Also make sure you dont have any exhaust leaks. i have also seen it happen when 1 piston isnt firing so possible fouled plug. 380 is a huge main. my ported banshee at sea level in cold canada is only running a 320 main.
  6. i bought a beater banshee 3 years ago for $700 it was all in one piece but it ended up needing every bearing in the book and a bunch of random things, if I were to do it again i would buy one in good shape. 3 years later I ended up sinking 3k into it and its a nice banshee now that looks like poo. goodluck and post some pics!!
  7. how does she run on the track?
  8. I just realized i will be a member 10 years in a couple months. I should do some sort of giveaway or something. Cant believe its been that long.
  9. Facebook in theory is great, however it gives people an easy way to slander a business or spread things that aren't true. it almost seems like we don't know who's ripping who off anymore. It is super easy to subscribe to the for sale section of this form I do and I see all the posts as soon as its emailed to me. I rarely go through the Facebook junk because there is just so much of it to go through all the time. So I see 100% of the for sale posts on here and maybe 5% of the stuff on Facebook. Nobody is on the pooper long enough to get through it all.
  10. Ok guys I know facebook is the future and people are starting to stop selling on the forums but I personally have stopped buying from facebook. I have had some good transactions and bad but overall the part that scares me and has led to me cutting it out is the fact that there is no reputation on somebody's name. On a forum I can see buddy has 125 posts been a member for 8 years basically telling me this guy most likely a respected member of the community but on facebook everything can be fake and I cant judge shit from their family pictures. Worst of all banshees are the cheapest way to go fast so we end up with the bottom of the barrel buyers and sellers and shit hits the fan regularly. I just wanted to put that out there and hope that I can convince some people to post more in the forum section. I dont care if people post in both that's your decision I just want to deal with credible and reputable people.
  11. eventually everyone on this forum will belittle you and tell you your doing everything wrong. probably why nobody posts anymore. If you have fun riding it ride it anything is better then stock I ran my banshee on the track a few times i had a fun time with it. Hell theres a video somewhere of jeremy mcgrath riding a stock banshee on a track. your bike is super clean!
  12. the bike looks great but its the decal kit that is taking the value away.
  13. my 250r is built with an alloy bolts kit and never used anti-seize once. Been like that since 2009 no problems as of yet. ! problem i have had is the strength of the bolts Iv bent like 3 shock bolts and a couple odd ones here and there since 09.
