  1. I'll take two...
  2. While there's a few experienced fellas poppin in, any one know where to find the non carbon fiber replacement reeds for VForce 2's? I thought TDR had some but haven't heard back on them.
  3. That's what I keep telling all the Craig's list "contractors" who keep under bidding us...... Haha
  4. Actually grabbing those fast hangers up myself.
  5. Always wanted to see actual copper plating. It would need clear powder so it doesn't turn green though. Black or red full bores.
  6. I was the other asshole that buys new every time.
  7. Fucking things used to never sit. They are awesome on stock cyl motors, someone swoop these up.
  8. Snapped my chain last week and was lucky I didn't whack cases on a fresh build. Not taking any more chances. I've wanted one of these for a long time now there's motivation.
  9. Kinda with cam on this one. How heavy are you? And how hard do you ride? You could probably get Quality oil for the triples and be ok.
  10. Those are short. I would be interested in them if you decide to swap. I would use them on a TT set up.
  11. I've only recently ventured in to the 10 mil stuff and love the massive torque it provides. But they definitely don't rev the same. However with some itty bitty ol' 65mm pistons, It would have to help that situation. Also, to boot, that motor will more then likely be next to a 58x68 cub. Even with a bit lamer RT you could probably make up with the torque and still get that thing revved up to charge on the big end. Totally an experiment worth trying out.
  12. The trench shouldn't go through on a 10 mil, but it is pretty common to see builders doing epoxy in the waffle on the bottom case.
  13. That's a lot of pilot, what else is done to the motor?
  14. Then try a set of 28-33 PWK's. If you port it, 35's will suffice.
  15. Arp hardware.......
  16. Also, don't waste the time on those gimmic type plugs from zex. Get some regular plugs and play with the gap and heat range. Really watch the strap
  17. C16 in the main tank. The guy had a really cool tank from Clark. It had two petcock mounts. The one on the left was a dual pinguel, the one on the right fed the pump for the nitrous set up. How are you switching it? There are a lot of handy micro switches that work in the stock thumb throttle housing.
  18. Your dome change will put you at about 190. They are usually about 10 psi per 1cc of dome. +9 degrees is ALOT of timing as well. I know of a lot of RDZ stuff that runs well with about 5-7 degrees. Also, that Sunoco could be stale. Especially if it's from winter. Mos of those places just don't sell it fast enough. I went from Torco to Sunoco and noticed some inconsistencies. I swapped to C12 and it ran great. The C14 might be an option for you if you are serious about wanting the higher compression and timing. There is also an oxygenated fuel called VP113. It's pretty much oxygenated C12. Good stuff!
  19. ^ that thing is the heart breaker sleeper that so many folks want. Looks like an average trail motor unless someone catches on the their smooth exterior...
  20. Hopefully this teaches others to look elsewhere.
  21. 7 1/2 turns out on the choke, 58/60 pilot, CGL needle second clip from the bottom(is there a power jet?), try that .120 main.
  22. Not a bad start. Get a big jug of oil and some stock springs to play with. Stop at a hard ware store or somewhere you can find nuts, bolts, weights, etc. Take some tools. It's kinda fun to dial a bike in first for an hour or so. Then you can enjoy the rest. Don't just gamble and then hope the trip is cool.
  23. There was a cobbled together set up that I got the displeasure of sorting out. In the end it ran really well with a Dyna pulling the timing out but it had to be flashed like 6 times to make sure it ran the tune you last uploaded. It had a 12 volt Milwaukee battery that seemed to do well so it didn't have a bunch of weight. Fuel was managed with a NX pump and all the rest o the components were sourced through NX as well. Originally it was a boon dockers dry nitrous kit that some one tried make a wet kit. (Pure poop)
  24. Any of those three will have you haulin'. It seems that precision has made a point and is here to stay for a while.
