  2. It will be cheapest to just find a place that sells it by the foot in a color you like. The last time I saw a kit with the hoses all pre cut they were taxed hard!
  3. With the white smoke and oil stench you speak of I think you may be talking about a pto side air leak. Is it just the right side pipe doing the weird smoke? Could be getting a little case oil in the crank area. My thoughts on the jets is that you are all over. This could also cause the excess smoke but your description sounds like your are saying crank case oil smell not premix smell. I think at most that bike would be a 50-55 pilot and 158ish main. Needle will probably be 2nd from the bottom clip or even the middle clip with the toomeys.
  4. Little more detail and maybe a photo? There are plenty of cool old two stroke diesels.
  5. I get you not wanting to wait to long, that shit sucks. But price....... Don't be surprised when it doesn't work out when you get Joe Schmo to do it for $25.
  6. Use a caliper to measure.
  7. Slight gains. On these things there are so many minute things that can be done. Most think mods for minimal gains are a waste of time. But if you do a handful of small things, they can definitely add up
  8. Granted all other issues are taken care of, any 2/1 makes a killer signal strength. That thing probably most definitely needs a richer needle. I messed with one that had a 39 PWK and the other was a Lectron. It was sorta simple with the lectron once it had a Packard metering rod (needle) that is pretty common for DM motors to run.
  9. It's just plastics, no performance difference. Except the ones on Craig's list that do 100 mph stock..........
  10. Never rode any Wicked stuff, just had a girdle head from them. It was a great head, but the wa they machined their dome blanks was a recipe for disaster. Plus they quit making the head and dome replacement parts for that set up so I had to move on. They make a lot of cool parts, but I've honestly never heard any one say they've seen a wicked motor really haul. With that said, the fellas at fast will get you hooked up. Jeff is awesome as well as Cody. Just had all the stuff for another project ordered up tonight from them. Fast will set ya straight.
  11. Yes. Any time new shit goes in. There was a ring in pieces? So there may even be enough damage to need a bore. The pistons are already bought? I sure hope the bores aren't all egg shape and scarred up.
  12. ..........yep. I won't nut swing. It was fast, but it's even better after few tweaks. Should probably have changed my sig a year ago.
  13. Not to mention the mega fucking heat soak!
  14. Yes and no. As with every thing it depends on set up...... To an extent. On the banshee twins, I see more motors go in to detonation before they can just get away with an early burn and spit it out the exhaust. The bigger singles get away with more timing as they don't fight the another piston. Those big singles are definitely the motors you see where they can just burn early and "blow cold" with timing. I've only seen a handful of motors that do that.On the banshee twin, excessive timing definitely makes them go a little flat up top like when you have to much compression. In my opinion, if a motor needs that much timing to work, there is possibly a dome issue. The question really is, why does a particular motor need to be lit so damn early to get a complete burn? OP, 210psi and 9 degrees is a bit much. It'll feel like a freight train early on, but won't pull revs the way it should. I used to TRY to run my short track motors that way but they never lived or reved.
  15. Umm, make sure they have the right jets in them.
  16. Isn't the guy with the white walls on here? And really? 20 fucking K!
  17. Benny and the jets^ STFU.
  18. ^ yes, the follow ups help others searching the forum. Sucks when there is 30 threads with similar issues and no solution. OP, congrats! It's a pain in the ass sometimes. Always worth it though.
  19. ^ no, that's not bad ass at all..... Pics in general off topic section ASAP.
  20. ^ junk, find a Graydon or 440 exciterif you are serious about 2/1
  21. Or..... You can come to michigan and clean my house once that trailer gig let's ya go.
  22. The best way to search the Site is to do it through google. There are so many topics on this it's retarted. But I you type "2-1 bansheehq" in to google you should have just about every comment made right at your fingertips. Some like them, some don't see the point. I've made them work, but still don't see the point other then it catering to the lazy.....
