  1. Definitely try a new bushing. There are needle roller replacements out there but beware which of those you are willing to try. I found a transmission parts supplier and told the guy my inner and outer dimensions and he sent me a really nice needle roller.
  2. Find another set and start over or get those set up and hope for the best. Don't bother with sleeving though. There are way to many options.
  3. ^ so I joke and it's fuck me. You joke and it's cool?
  4. JDS customs. They are dope as fuck. Hopefully loco will chime in.
  5. That top photo is an actual Cheetah so it is 250 intake. But the lay out is super similar. It was the best side by side I could find. I think that was savage's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  6. The cub is far superior when it comes to port lay out as it is casted with massive BOYHESON ports and a triple exhaust. It out flows even ported stock cylinders and has lots of material that can be massaged. The cub is now available with more friendly trailable lay outs as well as the standard cub which will be more drag/duner friendly. Stock cyl vs cub Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  7. Don't heat the axle splines. That just swells the axle making it tighter in the hub. Heat the hub and TAP it top to bottom, side to side. Odds are the hub splines are rolled over inside.
  8. More tire, then gearing so the motor loads up and almost wants to fall on it's face. Tweak the shock. Then fiddle fuck with a lock up and hope for the best.
  9. For a long time I was a proponent of just porting the stockers..... But for a QUALITY motor, I feel the cost is so close. Factor in the fact that BOTH motors NEED all the same bolt ons and gadgetry as well as trans and clutch work. Then for the stock cyl to make the 80hp mark they need to be a bit on edge and probably on race fuel. The serval makes the same performance if not better on pump fuel. That makes for a much more reliable set up in my opinion. After doing the last three 4 mils in stock cyls and adding it up, the serval from the get go is only a few hundred more bucks. Totally worth it in my eyes. Especially if you're a heavier fella.
  10. Yeah, so maybe you are ok and just not getting enough crank the way you are trying. I've honestly never heard of using a ratchet to get compression. Did you try with an impact yet?
  11. That could be an issue. However, if you put the socket on an impact and a bit of lube in the cylinder, it should be pretty close.
  12. Arlen is a great fella to do business with. He has always been one of the fellas producing very usable power early. He has also been around and doing it for a long time. Arlen was also the founder of LRD. His 7mm motors are notorious and his craftsmanship is second to none. I've oh had my hands on 2 of his motors and would not hesitate to have one done for myself by him.
  13. Always check your compression gauge. If they are even breathed on wrong, they will show goofy readings
  14. How old are the pipes?

  16. Those are stock holes. All the upper cases have two holes toward the front transfer area over each bearing. The furthest one forward Goes through. The other ones are just partialy machined/cast. Pretty sure they're there to to drop lube to the bearings. The ones in that photo are completely stock minus where there was material removed to the transfer area
  17. David did the domes on my big bore short track motor. What a difference! Before with the shelf domes from PD it just had no ability to rev out. For some reason, the domes David did allowed the bike to have a considerable amount more rev for the longer tracks. Mind you, this change was made while still keeping the compression the same.
  18. 10mm stock cyls are a bit much to stuff in the stock cyls. But it can be done.
  19. There is a nice forged 10mm from TDR(900)and I think Vito's finally beefed their 10mm like their newer style 4mm. (Don't quote me on the Vito's)
  20. Just wanting to see how they broke the edge down before the transfer. Here you are being a filthy hooker cunt about it......
  21. Ever watch the rodeo? That is what it will be like riding a strutted bike in the dunes. Unless you guys are grooming it, you will have at least one trip over the bars.
  22. I get that the top would have the texture as well. I was more curious to see if someone who went through all that trouble would have done the transfer area properly as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
