  1. make sure that rotor turns freely, with no dragging. sounds like you might have some corrision in there.
  2. yes a litte bit, most likely won't be to noticable.
  3. also make sure the port windows are to the intake side.
  4. same here d- slide
  5. It's happen to me before also, it cleared it self out. if your running a airbox, I would clean that and clean and reoil the filter.
  6. I would check your compression, with 22cc domes you should be fine running 93 at +4 timing. If your over 150 psi I would mix with race fuel.I run 32-1 klotz r-50
  7. for good all around power, fair price, eric gorr at forward motion does a great job. It was $250 when he did my cylinders. great to talk to also.
  8. and when you finally get it apart use dielectric when you put it back together. makes a good connection, keeps moisture out, makes it easier next time.
  9. try appling pressure to the hub or rotor, and hit the spindle with a dead blow hammer, or rubber mallet.
  10. yes, but let the silcone set up over night so it like gluing the wires in place. clean the area to be silconed well also.
  11. If your set on a 2-stroke, a honda 250r is a great quad. there lighter than a banshee, easier to throw around than a banshee. easy to mod, they make great power and it's more controlable. I've had 3 of them and still have a 86, they are an awesome bike. goodluck
  12. If you don't have the clip anymore, I would push them in as far as possibly, use some dielectic grease. then silcone them from the outside, let it dry good before you use it. now you won't have a problem with water and it still can be removed.
  13. I think the cylinders are 20# also. good luck
  14. no just real noisey
  15. sounds like he's going to clamp ons the way I read it, not knowing what he's runnig now I would jet up 1 maybe 2 sizes. and that could be a 340 or 350.you should read the whole post before giving advice. If you remove your airbox and go with clamp ons you will need to jet up. If your jetting is good, when ever you add more air you will need more fuel.
  16. dude a deal is a deal, you set a price and received money, now man up and send the cylinders.if your so hard up for money like you say, how come your all over the for sale forum trying to buy stuff??? a deal is a deal and your word is much more important than the cylinders... looks like you might be headed into the
  17. it sounds like your try to lug your banshee around like a 4-stroke, there to high strung for that. certain mods make it alot better, but it wasn't designed to put around. drive like you stole and see if it runs better.
  18. if you swapped bowls on accident, that could be your problem. the left bowl has a tube it to pull gas. I would check that.
  19. try raising the clip to lower the needle, if this doesn't help your main my be to big.
  20. what ever you choose make sure it's for wet clutches, not just motor oil.
  21. I agree sounds lean, that's probably why your overheating. get your jetting right first then look at the cooling system.
  22. If your temps are around 60 f, i'd start with a 190 main. I was running a 190 when i had the 35 on with normal bolt ons. good luck. which needle do you have, the dek is hard to dial in. the eek was better for me.
  23. sounds like the clutch to me also.while your in there i'd get a modded shift star from boonman. awesome mod $40.
  24. does it idle fine when the choke is off? I believe on your carbs you turn the choke knob to adjust idle.
  25. with a dune port and cpi's, I would get carbs first, timing plate, lighten the flywheell and shift star mod from boonman. I think with your setup the most bang is going to come from carbs.
