  1. is your timing advanced, mine wouldn't pull on top at +8 degrees backed it down to +5 and the problem went away.
  2. I run the trinity cv intake and love it, but if your going to run rockets and plan on porting I would run twins...the rockets and port work are going to be able to pull more air and fuel than one carb can supply. my 2 pennys
  3. if your running with your lid on, i'd drop the pilot down to 55 to start, and bump the main up to 195-205, needle in the middle.
  4. t-6s look great and perform great on a stock port motor, they respond to all the bolt on mods also. you don't have to trim your fenders for them to fit, and they are not in the way of your legs when riding hard on tight trails. i don't think i've read any thing negitive about the rockets accept for the old silencers where ugly, the new ones look great.
  5. did you tighten or adjust the screw and locknut on your clutch hub???
  6. sounds like the float isn't set properly or your needle isn't closing.
  7. timing and compression will help. trinity 2-1 setup is awesome also.
  8. a stock banshee has 110-130 psi, in the lower mi area.
  9. filter and pipes.
  10. the mio area has a great trail system, you can ride from town to town, even drive up to the gas stations. also st. helens has good trails, wide and fast. silver lake sand dunes are by far the best place in mi. in my opinion.
  11. your new pipes my have had oil residue on the inside causing the smoke... install new pluges and check again
  12. what size domes???
  13. how did your plugs look when you changed them... sounds like you ran lean and melted the frount of your pistons by the exhaust port. do a compression check. good luck
  14. If it's tune properly and maintained well you'll have less problems than the new 4-strokes, they have more things to maintain. I've had my banshee about a year and a half now and my clutch cable broke this weekend. big deal. I personally would buy a used banshee already modified.
  15. don't be afraid to speak your mind
  16. if your leaking water into the combustion chamber it will run bad and smoke. base gasket will suck air and run lean. a crank seal on the clutch side will suck oil and run rich.
  17. you have to trim the stock fenders to fit the rockets. from what i've read if you ride sand at all you want the rockets, but toomeys are a awsome pipe.
  18. what type of carbs do you have??? If there stock, your way to lean.with pipes and reeds you should be around 270-300. If you have a 2-1 trinity intake with a 35, your probably still a litte lean. what pipes are you running? they have a huge roll in where your powerband is.
  19. did you try a new plug. also check your plug cap and wire. is your airfilter clean.good luck.
  20. DMC 916s are a dual pipe with a single silencer that has 2 outlets, sounds awesome. I don't know how it performs.
  21. sounds like your running your airbox w/lid,those pipes will pull more air than your airbox can flow. yours probably won't rev as high. less air=less fuel=less power=less rpm. just my opinon
  22. I agree, also think your pilot is to big and your mains are to big for t-6 pipes with only a modded lid. also if your needle is 1/4 longer is it possible that there bottomed in the main and holding your slide up?
