    02 Shee, just bought some sweet high lift ,long duration cams for it that gave it like...at least 23 horse more, titanium valves, the old ones were ticking like crazy ! Ummm just replaced the batery cause i though it was bad but it turns out my starter was like fried ! Dude....my banshee is friggen saweet !

  1. I have a 4 mill stroker crank, 68mm bore, a cool head with 24cc domes, v-force reeds, the 35mm trinity stage IV two into 1 carb kit, and CPI's. Before i got to cpi's i have fmf pipes and it ran pretty good, now that i put the cpi's on it isnt runnin to swell. I tried re-jettin and nothin is working so far,but i only had two sets of jets to work with. It starts and idles just fine and even is ok in mid range but it doesnt like to go into ban and when it does it will kinda go in and out and sputter. I ride at about 1000 feet above sea level and the weather is about 70-80 degrees. Any suggestions would be greatly appricieated ! BTW, when the engine is running if i touch the spark plug boot on the right side it shocks the crap outa me ! Wasnt sure if that had anything to do about it.
  2. I had the same exact problem and i syncronized the carbs and it ran perfect.
  3. Ok, i just got done with my shee and i did the calculations and it come out to about 421cc's. I just purchased CPI in frame drag pipes and the 35mm CV kit from trinity. I am about 1000 feet above sea level here in Ohio and was wondering if anyone could give me some advise. The carb kit from trinity came with a jet kit for the carb and i got a 188 and 195 main jet and a 55 and 50 piolet. Which ones do you think i should run , i was thinkin the 188 main and 50 piolet but i have no idea where to put the air/ fuel screw after i do that?! Some advice would be well appreiciated !

  5. I know the stock stroke is 54 mm. Now the .3 over means 3 tenths of sumthin over, it might mean 3 tenths of and inch , which i doubt, it prob would mean 3 tenths of a mm, but i coudlnt tell you for sure.
  6. My banshee is going through clutches like it is its day job, i just got done with a bunch of engine work and my clutch will not hold up to it, and i dont want to get hinson clutch stuff. I just want a clutch lock up assembly so i can keep nice loose springs on it and not have to kill my fingers pulling heavy duty clutch springs. Which kinds are some favorites ?
  7. Hey , make sure that where the coil is attached to the frame is free of rust, if its not gettin a good ground it wont give you a very good spark. I had that same problem.

I am looking for a carb setup for my banshee, it is stroked and bored to about a 421, i am leaning more twords the trinity 2 into 1 kit but i dont know if it will be able to feed my engine enough gas ?? The way i was thinkin is how can i not get enough fuel with twin 26's which would total 52 but get enough with one 38 ??
  9. Well ive been looking into new carbs and was wondering if i would be better off with a trinity 2 into 1 system or a pair of 34's or 35's ??
  10. Well i have the base spacer plate. I talked to vitos before installing everything and they said it would all work just fine. Also, I told them i was gettin the 4 mill stroker before they started the engine work. I have no idea how to time it , ive looked everywhere and have found nothing. Thanks !
  11. Ok, i just installed a vito's 404 big bore kit, then i realized i also wanted to put a 4 mill stroker so i bought that from vito's also. So i have the 4 mill stroker and the 404 kit in my banshee right now. I have v-force 3 reeds, cool head with 24cc big bore domes, k&n's right off the carbs, FMF pipes, and stock carbs. I just put a 340 main jet in it and it is runnin like crap. It idles just fine, but falls flat on its face when i get on it. Im thinkin im not gettin enough gas and might have to get bigger carbs ?? (also it seems liek the left carb is sucking much more air than the right but i did a compression test and both cylinders were equal.) Any suggestions would help greatly !! Thanks !!

I just got a Vito's 404 Big Bore kit, i have a machine shop that will pull the old sleeves out, bore it, and put the new ones in, but do i need a special press machine to get the pistons on the rods or can i do his myself? I figured because it has a needle bearing it must not be a tight press fit.
