  1. 67 ac cobra, with a 427 and 4 speed. but i would settle for a factory five replica, with a supercharged 460, black with yellow strips.
  2. awesome mods and fast service
  3. I had fattys first, and now have t-6s. I like the t-6pipes alot better. they are alot louder than the fmf's,the hush kit quiets it way down ,don't know about power loss. with bolt on mods the pipes work great, now my engine is ported and I still have no complaints. the pipe looks alot better than the fmf pipe also.
  4. pm boonman, he sells new ones for $40 or does yours for $25. makes finding neutrul easier, and shifting easier. he also does the flywheel $65. awesome mods, fast service.
  5. Is there really a differance between engine builders...
  6. I had the stock head done also, help alot. when my piston let go it messed the head up. I got a noss head and my engine runs alot cooler now, which makes more power, the engine will last longer, and it looks alot better. Awesome mod. check into eric gorrs porting, great power bottom to top. about $250
  7. there not stock, looks like a keilhn style choke at the front left of carb. pulls up instead of out.
  8. when it's cold out and the oil is thick, even with the clutch in it might not disengage. try rolling it in neutral.
  9. With stock porting you will see a gain at the bottom and mid, maybe a little loss on top. You be happy the way it pulls in the bottom and mid, you'll probably be faster now.
  10. Now I don't have to type as much... I completely agree.
  11. have you checked for spark...check your wiring also
  12. NOS is for the experiniced tuner. if you have problems jetting or are not mechinically inclined don't get it. NOS makes reliable horsepower when tuned to the moderate side. definitly get the wet kit, personnally I would go with a N.O.S kit . goodluck.
  13. to bypass your key switch all you have to do is unplug it, you do not need to connect any wires.try untwisting the wires and chrck for spark. good luck
  14. I don't think so but maybe, I only had the problem in the sand, trails and open roads no problems. before the port work I was running a 200 main with no problems, and everytime I jetted up I made a little more power on top. I won't be in the sand again until the dunes open back up in the spring.
  15. If your running great on top and idles good I would move the clip up to lean the middle out. good luck
  16. get your flywheel lightened also, makes the throttle alot snappier. eric gorrs porting is awesome. about $250
  17. I have a mild port stock stroke, trinity 2-1 with a 38mm. running a 220 main when it was 55-65 degrees here. worked great every where, except sixth gear in the sand, I need to get more fuel to the carb. good luck
  18. Is it new or used. stock or modified. A dirty air cleaner will slow it right down.plugged mufflers on the stock pipes will slow it down also.you have to ride a banshee hard to get the most out of it.when my buddy first got his banshee I could beat him on my 250r, when he learned how to ride it, I would take him through third and then he was gone. good luck
  19. the 38mm works great, that's what I run. when I first got my banshee it had trinity intake with a 35, fmf pipes, and a set of rad valves. It ran pretty good, also had 13/41 gearing. switched to t-6 pipes, had more power everywhere. added v-force reeds and 4 degrees timing, added more power again. cut my head .025, still more bottom end. added a 38mm keilhn, diden't hurt the bottom but helped the top.3-5 mph according to my gps. needed a new topend so I set cyls to eric gorr and got the more power everywhere port, boonman lighten my flywhel (awesome mod), and a noss head with 19cc domes( awesome mod great customer service), and added a 15 tooth sprocket. now I have the power the way I like it, strong bottom, awesome midrange, and great topend pull. That's my banshee and I love it And remember a good holeshot and a ok bike will beat a fast bike and bad holeshot 9 out of 10 times.
  20. noss 19cc domes, great customer service and great product.
  21. with stock gears and cubs you shouldn't run out of motor, I still feel you need more fuel.what size carbs, timing, compression, type of ingition?
  22. fattys come on smoother and are easier to ride in tight areas. t-5s have a hard hit and are fun to ride, but some times the hit hurts you when you need traction.
  23. if your running real clean through 5th, and laying down in 6th I would jet up a size or 2.
  24. your stock pilots should be fine, try adjusting your air screws.
  25. $250 if you don't need a top end. power comes on sooner revs higher, and pulls harder throughout.ericgorr.com good luck
