  1. Oklahoma, but ill ship to canada for an extra fee. Id have to look it up on ups.com to see how much more shipping it to you would cost.
  2. The SST pipe increases mid range pull and extends the over-rev considerably while sharpening the off idle throttle response. No other pipe on the market can offer these same type of gains or offer the same linear power delivery that the patented SST brings to the table. # FMF Racing
  3. Get your stock cylinders ported and polished. If you have enough cash get the 4mm crank with 34pwk's?? Clamp on k&n filters, vforce 3 reed cages, and a nossmachine head and you will piss on 450's.
  4. If you keep the airbox take the lid off and put in some 320 mains and if you get the clamp on filters put in a 340 (30 pilot). Those settings worked for me at 1300 ft. elevation and 90 degree weather.
  5. Yep, im trying out my friends gnarlys right now and its the same on those to.
  6. No, 260 would be fine if the airbox is stock. There shouldent be a change in the size of the main jet by changing from the fattys. Maybe one size you would just have to try it out, but id put in 27.5 pilots and adjust the airscrews. Also, what have you done to your airbox?
  7. So did you pass? I passed mine the first time with a 89% in a suburban (bitch to parelell park )
  8. Yes, those big box looking things on top of the carbs are your Throttle Over Ride System (TORS). It kills the engine if your carbs stick. To get the needles out you have to unscrew the carb tops off (under the tors unit) the carb. Then read your clymers book to tell you how to get your needles out. Im not sure which year they added the TORS unit.
  9. Ive got dibs on it after him if its aftermarket.
  10. Id get a 400ex before one of those for trails. I rode my buddies kfx700 and its got good torque, but to heavy for jumping and stuff. It would be a good sport bike for an old guy to cruise around on.
  11. I have always ran belray H1R 32:1 synthic. Get an airbox kit from nossmachine.com if you want to keep the airbox on (must do). Then next get some kind of aftermarket pipes.
  12. My friend just let my barrow his fmfs gnarly's and they are bad ass on low end compard to the sst's. They hit real hard down low and fall off a little sooner than the sst's.
  13. Exactly, put the oil in the gas jug and then use the gage at the pump to measure the gas. Also, the oil will take up space in the can, so it wont be perfect that way either.
  14. SST's are a good mid-top end pipe. Im about to sell mine and try something different thou.
  15. Yea fiddlebacks suck. If you get bite by one, cut a patato in half and put the middle part over the bite and it helps to draw the venom out.
  16. If it was dialed in for cold weather go down 1 size on the mains.
  17. what are you talking about? Edit: oh I see that your trying to sell your sst pipes on my sale page
  18. Yea Ill ship there for extra money. Im thinking im just going to ebay them, but if you offer me enough I sell them and ship to canada. NE=North East
  19. Then your tranny is going to be messed up again lol. That much power is going to wear it out alot faster than the stock jug 4 mil engine. The cheeta's are for drag only and your going to have to upgrade everything for those: carbs, reed cages, filters, pipes, heavy duty clutches maybe a lock up, and a hell of a swing arm.
  20. What are you mods? Im guessing pipes, k&n w/ the lid off? When I had those mods I ran a 320 mains 30 pilots at the same elevation. The airscrew adjust 0-1/8 throttle, so that wouldent have anything to do with our problem. Leave the lid off if you have an aftermarket filter and throw in some 320 mains and if it still bogs then go down to a 310. tip: if you have a prefilter you can always yank it off if its bogging.
  21. Id go the ported 4 mil stroker way and get a nossmachine cool head (tell him that you have a 4mm storker). It comes with o-rings to replace the stock head gasket and cools alot better. Changing the head (stock to nossmachine) took me about 1hr and 45 mins the first time I did it. Pretty easy if you as me, I wouldent take it to a shop.
  22. what about a 04 400ex?
  23. Yea I bought my '04 brand new in 2003 for $5700 OTD, quads just dont hold their value very good. Good luck selling thou.........bump
