  1. Put in some 340 mains and 30 pilots, or just get a dynojet jet kit. BTW dont run your banshee with the 240 main jets it ( it will blow up ).
  2. Get some klotz benol and you wont mind it at all. If they made a cologne that smelt like it I would buy some for sure.
  3. Thats crazy, it worked for 5,10,1, and 2 (all that I tryed).
  4. send pics to [email protected] and ill post them here are the pics
  5. What do the cushions do and why would you want to remove them? Fill me in on that. Im probley going with the street bike clutch because it will last longer.
  6. I would get the dynojet jetkit and put in the needles and 340 main jets that they supplie in the kit. BTW you are very lean, dont ride it until you rejet it or you will blow your engine.
  7. so it was riding perfect untill you were at full throttle or with the choke out it would bog? If you dident have the choke out you will need to go down 1 size on the main jets (220), or wait untill it get colder and it will run better.
  8. He just trying to sell you the yamalube, but dont get me wrong its good stuff. I have ran bel-ray gear saver 80w for 2 years with no problems. I would say it will be ok like you said. Also, you need to change it more than ever year.
  9. I wasent getting on your case I was just asking you where they are proven When I was riding my friends bike it was like it was allways on the pipe. Even when I was about to stall I just hammered the throttle and it hit instantly. And he still out runs me with the rest of his mods so they do have decent top end, but fall off a little earlier than my sst's.
  10. Ok for the idle-1/4 is envolving the airscrews. Try turning them 1/2 a turn at a time allowing 30seconds for the engine to react to the adjustments. Go clockwise first, if it gets better (cleaner throttle response) kept going until its perfect. If it gets worse go counterclockwise (leaner) untill it gets better. What are you talking about when you say there isent any power with full throttle? Are you talking about with the choke all the way out? How did it act when you were wound out all the way and then pulled the choke half way out?
  11. Where are they proven? You bet, but you havent even rode a bike with them on to compare. I have rode the gnarlys and they totaly kick ass with bottem end.
  12. I would leave the needle in the stock position, but try a full throttle run with it on only half choke. I wouldent go any leaner on the main jet. The black on your plugs is from messing with the choke and that will mess up your reading. BTW what size main jets did it have in it stock?
  13. I thought I read that the 06's dont need a cam mod, im not sure but you might check into that cuz it might mess it up.
  14. this is powder coated, just do it a different color
  15. I bet you $15 that you have an airleak. There is no way he would need over a 250 for his mods.
  16. The dynojet jet kit comes with (2) 270 mains, (2) 280 mains, (2) 340 mains, (2) dynojet needles & shims, and some sweet sticers . I would pick one up when you get your pipes. Id recomend some fmf fatty's because they have good all around power. More bottem end than toomeys, but more top end than paul turner mids.
  17. Take the carb off and see what size main is in there stock and go up about 2 sizes and see how it runs. Im no expert, but I dident even rejet for my K&N and it ran fine. And some slip ons you dont have to rejet so
  18. The 230's should be fine, you might even need a 240 main. Your next mods need to be a dynojet jet kit (yea i know its like $80) because the fuel needle is alot better than stock. I wasent sure about it at first, but when I put the new needles in it cleaned up the flat spot with my pipes. Also, with that needle you never have to change your pilot jets. Then get the airbox adaptor and k&n from noss. After that you should get some aftermarket pipes depending on what terrain you ride (trails, dunes, drag). With pipes and your airfilter your banshee will be a new machine (im not kidding either). A good trick to know: say your dialing in your mains like you are, you just put in the 230's and your taking it down the road at full throttle in a high gear. Pull the choke out half way and if it runs better your main jet is lean (go up a size). If it runs worse I would leave it like it is (i like to jet mine fat just incase).
  19. BEWARE of any emails titled "your password" or "registration confirmation"! Most of the ones I have got say "Account and Password Information are attached!" and then Hotmail scans the attachment and it shows up as "WORM_SOBER.AG" Virus Found.
  20. What is your elevation and air temp. that you are going to be riding in? Yes a 360 is to big for my bike even (no airbox, pipes). You need to get a airbox adaptor and a K&N asap! the stock filter is a shity design. Go to this website for an airbox kit. www.nossmachine.com
  21. I disagree with them being the best. Ive rode a banshee with 20cc domes, +3 timing, vforce3, and fmf gnarlys and it comes on damn fast. Alot faster than mine with 21cc domes and fmf sst pipes(mid-top). Have you rode both dEcon? Go with the gnarlys, you wont be diapointed. Plus they look 10 times better.
  22. did you just rebuild the carbs? if so, was it running good before you rebuilt them? is the choke tube that runs between the carbs on?
  23. Yes, they will go on with the stem and handle bars on.
  24. So you paid them to fix a problem they made? There is a screw on the float bowl that you can open to drain the bowls and they might have left those open and say they ordered new parts, but just screwed it back in just a thought. Buy a clymers manual off amazon.com and you wont need to take it to the shop! rejetting isent all that hard, I dident know what I was doing the first time I tore the carbs off my banshee, but now there is nothing to it.
