  1. Yep thats him, I saw one of his motors run at the dunes and the guy was tearin up some other shees, but who knows what was done to them. Sweet shee, I wish I could take it off your hands
  2. Yes, go up to a 27.5 maybe 30 (what I ran with fmf sst's). Id leave the needle alone and put those pilots in first because its easy and will probley fix it. BTW if you dont ride threw ponds and shit get clamp on filters and ditch the airbox. It makes rejetting a breeze.
  3. Clean your filter more often and get the in-line fuel filter like sredish said (any motorcycle store will have them). Also, I wouldent mix two different synthic oils together because some say they might have a bad reaction together. During the winter months I like to start mine atleast once a month and let her run for 5 minutes or more (be sure to rejet if it gets alot colder in the winter where you live)..

  5. Im just throwing out the idea of selling these pipes and trying something different. The deal is that I found a pin hole in the weld on one expansion chamber, so fmf if giveing me new expansion chambers (im sending them the old ones). The silencers have no dents and are in excellent shape (will clean up and polish). Im just wanting some offers on them to see if I could come out in ok shape when buying new pipes. If I dont have to spend to much more for new ones ill let them go. These are very sweet pipes for drags and dunes I even trail rode with them. I spend $560+ship for them new from magic racing, and I have receipt and install instructions.

  8. The 572 would be cool if it got more than 12 mpg . I think he wants a daily driver, but you cant go wrong with some 20 inch deep dish rims on a muscle car

  10. I would not have sold your old quad and made it into a sand quad (revalve shocks and thicker seat). If it was me I would get the banshee because its alot cheaper, the seat is 10x more softer, and its the last year there making it in the U.S. IMO get the shee and spend the extra money on aftermarket shocks.

  13. Id start with 300 mains, 27.5-30 pilots, needle in the middle position, 1.5 turns out...that should be pretty close because its cold there.
  14. One of my buddies has an 04? predator with the airbox removed, revbox, and trinity full system. My Banshee has no problem beating it on pavement IMO there to heavy, but have good power.

  17. Dont worrie about it, when I go to the dunes we ride for about 2 hours at a time. When I get back to camp I always fill up no matter what even if I have 3/4 tank. I will never run out that way out in the dunes. Banshees eat up about 1/3 more gas thank a 400ex id say (bro has one- pipe cam lid off). If you want a banshee get a banshee! The 450's have like a 2.6 gallon tank and the banshee has like a 3.5. Id say if you hade a piped and filtered banshee(lid on) you could ride for 6 hours with a tank. But, wats the fun of that? I use to be just like you always worring about running out of gas and now I just want more power fuck gas milage
  18. Id atleast get ITP beadlocks on the rear because there alot stronger than regular .190 rims. I managed to bend a .190 ITP rim, but it bent back easy and havent had a problem with it since.

  21. ask your yamaha dealer, my clymers manual only has banshee year models.
  22. You might be running a little rich. Take the airbox lid off and see if that helps, if it does then put it back on and go down a size on the main.
